Hey Syntac, in Genesis to get element what I did was I went to the lunar biome and farmed element dust to make the element and bought the rest so it makes it a bit easier :)
Or you could not be stupid and just farm the ele in and around the volcano
He can't make element with the shards until he gets a replicator... so he needs to get dust or buy element till he gets 100 element to make a replicator, he said that in the video if you pay attention

They just recently gave a massive nerf to the Ovis harvest rewards...supposedly to prevent stalls...so now it's a lot harder to use them for taming.

@@robbierocker7776 only if you have few ovis which are poorly bred/maintained/leveled. about 10 lvl 70 all level in health should be ok. always maintain 10 ± 2 babys/dead

Hey Syntac- First wanted to say, thank you for your hard work on your series. This has been a great source of info for my own Ark adventures. Second a bit of advice for soloing the drops: I used 1 Giga, 4-5 rexes( I did use my boss rexes w/ mutations) about 10-15 Velonasaurs set to turrent mode and agressive. The Velons don't even need to be mutated, only imprinted to 100%. Get them all decent saddles and they will shred anything airborne. Use a leash, drop it right at the drop, set its range to max for the rexes to defend and move around on your giga to pick off creatures. Only small hiccup I had was that the leashes can be damaged and break, I kept about 5 on me to replace the other between rounds. Just my 2 cents, thanks!
Hey Syn the only question I have is, what gap will you be having between the end of the extinction series to the beginning of genesis. Will it be similar to aberration to extinction or immediately afterwards. Away looking forward to your videos regardless.
he mentioned in the past that he wouldnt be starting it immediately after genesis so i would expect at least a month or two after extinction

Syntac, for the titan tames, use manas, you can get a perfect tame on them as you do 0 damage to them, but you do the 1 damage to the corruption
the reason I love your videos so much is I dont have to watch every single episode to understand. I still do but I like the fact I can skip forward, watch a episode that catches my attention and go back to where I was in the series
Tip for controlling the critters for your drops is to use some dino leashes.
Chuck down 4 or so of them a little distance from your drop and throw some aggressive gigas in those leashes. They will stay confined to the leashes thinning the crowds and then you can clean up anything that sneaks through easily on your mount.
You can use a few behemoth gates around a drop on a purple to make dealing with reapers and drakes much easier as well. Behe gates drop pretty regularly from your gachas so it should be cheap and easy to do.
the glitch where you could bring an un-assembled mek into the boss fight on genesis, and deploy it from there, i think they fixed it now. I don't think you can bring a built mek in either.
Another reason why genesis is trash
Question for Syntaco: are you planning on taming a Gasbags or a Velonosaur or a Mana in this series?

Mate boosted gigas can easily do the kangaroo mission in the snow on alpha. 28,000 hexagons. You could buy element very easy

One thing about Syntacs vids its always well thought out. In most cases some youtubers who have a considerable amount of following (not naming names) Dont really have a plan but i like how well thought out his videos are amongst the rest. Great stuff

You can farm the Tek creatures in the Lunar Biome for Element Dust and still turn that into Element in your invetory.

ok hopefully you read this cause i reckon it's worth a thought but here are three points to consider for genesis
1st you can farm up element dust from the tek creatures on the lunar biome to make element so you don't have to buy all of it.
2nd i know you can grind element to dust in the s+ grinder. I assume you can also do it with shards? I'd test this but i'm on console so can't.
3rd Maybe a Mana would be better than a mek. I mean you can tame a bloodstalker to get around, but a mana gives you a means to get around right away and would make getting started so much easier.
Syntac: I don't want to build a door to project my tames because I'll have to open and close it all the time...
Me: If only there was a mod that auto opened/closed doors in this game.

You don't need to feed Gachas anything other than stones for them to produce crystals of whatever their resource is. You only need to take an owl to give them the owl pellets if you want them to also produce loot crystals.

You're base looks super cool, it looks like you built the whole thing with the dome wall thing too it looks super cool, perfect base spot. I put mine on top of one of the buildings that had water and bushes, only problem is you need a flyer..
Also Syntac, maybe if you end up doing drops in the future carry some dino gates with you, metal would be advised, then place them around the drop. It'll be cheaper than the force field and will offer some protection. It might also be able to keep your gigas from biting the drop if you have a big enough radius. Buddies and I have have practically built fobs around them before it helps a lot with protection

Syntac, you should make the mission episodes almost a guide for those missions, IE what tames to bring, what to do, etc. I think it would make it a bit more interesting.

Syn meks and gigas are super interchangeable I would take a gasbags for the weight and bc its not considered a flyer plus their weight is mental
Syntac if you need element on genesis you can craft it by killing tek dinos and crafting unstable element in your inventory from the element dust. Probably not 100 element but at least some so you save some hexagons
This was a feature since the scorched saga definitely helps though

Also about the drops: did you forget about Velonasaurs? (Probably misspelled that) Velons were how you did the drops before. Just have two gigas for mate boost, and then tame/breed a bunch of decent velons.

Syntac beware of almost all alpha missions involving fighting. Gigas and rex without max armor saddles plus imprint will not survive and some of the xcreatures hit for 1000s of damage in rapid attacks instantly enraging gigas. Mate boosts and yuti boost are a must if playing on normal stats like we do. Have a blast.

Syntac, if you just leave a small Ferrox on the ground, it will collect element dust quickly. Leave it alone for a a few days and boom, replicator
actually flying was changed to be allowed by default recently as far as i remember, but no matter if it is or not it can be adjusted by adding "bForceCanRideFliers=true/false" to the GameUserSettings.ini.
He doesn't want to add flyers cause he wants it to be as vinila as possible and no flyers are not on by default

Syntac you can get a tek replicator from the tier 2 and 3 loot crates. Just save up and open one and considering the fact you gonna have a broken mek and mutated gigas, that shouldn't be too hard

The boss fight isnt about power,it is more about speed. Your rexes and a yuty will kill the enemies. It is getting the keys and the bugs in the fight atm (plus you need tek weaponry to kill Rockwell) that make it difficult

The desert Titan is very easy to tame if you have a quetzal with a platform saddle and a 1x1 box on it so the flock can’t hit you as much
If you are looking for brontos, i often find them outside the sanctuary, go south from your base and then west, you will find some.
Also when i fighted the ice titan something weird happenned : we were 2 on our lightning wyverns, but i took aggro first and almost never got rid of it for the entire fight. At some point we were badly hurt so i let out a giga out of a pokeball to see if that helped... i never attacked the titan since and still didn't took aggro, the giga was alone, and never got hit once, he destroyed the titan solo x) my friend was watching from high up and i was turning around to not get hit, and the giga did all the job x)
Syn you can't complete purple orbital drop, you go to like wave 5 and then you can go unlimited amount after that, you decide when to quit, so you gotta hold on till stage 5 then you can stop it.

You can get a tek replicater by opening a yellow or red drop so dont need to spend that many points on element. Hope this helps!
syntac literally has so much mutations and me on mobile having to wait for 6 hours trying to get another egg and literally got only 1m mutation after like 2 weeks and when we get a giga after waiting 4 hours of taming it
Btw you know you could wait it out and let the shield regen after your done with the drop
We usually do that
Just give it 5mins it will be regenerated and then you can pick it up
Though am not sure whether vanilla ones can be picked up coz S+/SS ones can be
You can still try it
And once your done with a drop just dont eject all items instantly and let it stay
It wont despawn till your close to it
We usually wait for the shield to heal and watch your videso while waiting xD
Oh and btw when the shield is there no dino goes in (the rockdrake while camoed can glitch in and will glitch in , be careful) so the giga wont bite the drop
Oh and also take a leash with you so gigas dont go too far and put them all on agressive
For any who don't know, your tames will attack the supply drops because they are not part of your tribe, and are basically counted as wild animals, because ARK. That's why that happens. I think
