Una canción preciosa querido Brandon! Me encanta tu serie artúrica !!!! Cada nuevo tema me gusta más que el anterior! Muchas gracias y muchos besos Amalia
I see you two brothers both composed something for the Holy Grail (Derek for the Knights of the Round Table hehe). Monty Python is the first thing that pops to my mind haha, love that movie. This has a different touch to the movie, but nonetheless very fitting, it sounds amazing :)
I've been a fan of King Arthur's legend for years. Yet for all my knowledge; I cannot, for the life of me understand what reason the Holy Grail is there? I understand the religious significance behind it. But some legends make it like the grail can cure the sick, heal dying lands or whatever else
sadlobster1 I'm not really sure why it's such a popular concept. I'm sure if you studied it in great depth you could find out the reason, but I'm not sure how the legends got started :)
sadlobster1 Disregarding its Magical/Political/Military power, The Holy Grail is an excellent ´plot device.´ The love affair between Queen Guinevere and Sir Lancelot was something of a public secret. Too many people knew about it or atleast suspected something for the problem to be swept away. King Arthur was forced to act, but Lancelot was both a VIP and an excellent swordsman for Arthur to simply have him killed. Banishing him would have raised too many questions. However sending the greatest hero of the kingdom to accomplish such a Holy Mission allowed Althur to get rid of Lancelot while keeping most of his public face. The debacle between Guinevere, Lancelot and Arthur, and the subsequent mess, is commonly considered to be the crack that destroyed the unity of the Round Table. Without the Grail mission the end of King Arthurs legend might have shaped completedly different.
+Jari Olavi Lipponen Thank you for your insight. It's refreshing to read a comment of such depth, one that brings to light the hidden aspects of European history, folklore or a combination of the two. Such comments are rare as most talk only about video games when medieval videos are concerned. Be well and keep reading and enlightening others on things European!
+Brandon Fiechter The legend of King Arthur came from an Englishmen who was in prison and the Holy Grail is supposed to be the cup that Christ drank from on the last supper and his blood is in the cup some people think it represents the bloodline of Christ because he might have been married to Mary Magdalene (one of his disciples also an ex prostitute) they might have had children together and some people also think that the Knights Templar's were sent out to protect the bloodline and make sure no one finds out.
Anyone reading this, who wants to watch medieval movies, try checking out Excalibur (1981) or A Knight's Tale. The Heath Ledger film especially seems aimed towards teens.
I would just like to ask, since when have you and Derek been writing sheet music for these pieces and posting them online? I saw the sheet music for some of the songs in the sites that you put links for in the descriptions for those songs. Anyways, keep it up.
CariPR94 Thank you for saying that! We started putting sheet music online rather recently. It's an interesting idea and I'm glad you like it. Have a nice day! :)
SkyDwarvesPrime Yes, I have. I'm currently composing music for a video game called Thayo's Wings, though a lot of the music in the game sounds very different from the music on my channel. :)
This song is beyond my words.

Due to the moderate supplies they have. My library probably would lack the necessary books regarding this part of the legend
