Hi! Really helpful but even when I click on the diamond to the left of the Time Remap and then delete 3d Keyframe it's still has glitch - what kind of issue it could be? Thank you in advance:)
Found another comment about this problem and here is solution: "go to Edit > Purge> All Memory & Disk Cache. It works. The missing frame is apparently AE bug."
Why is this happening? It freezes at the second keyframe, but when I see others using time remapping on RUclips, it works smoothly. However, when I try it, it gets stuck and won't move past the second keyframe.
@@MikeMurphyCo Yes, I figured it out! Just to confirm, I did watch the entire tutorial and added the Time Remapping & loopOut expression. Thanks for the help!
I feel your pain! Seamless loops can maddening. Try playing with the Composition Settings Duration and see if you can find the right timing where it loops perfectly. 🍀
i'm using the effect ccjaws , moving it from right to left but the last end keyf glitch not fixed by remap-1 step key frame trick ! & loopout code, any other solution please ?!
Seamless loops are tricky (I struggle too). Sometimes you have to get creative and play around with the timing and try to find the part where the end lines up with the beginning. You then Pre-Comp that part and use the Time Remapping on the Pre-Comp. There is no 'easy' way that I have found and it really varies per type of project. It's something I really want to master and be able to teach it as there are so many different solutions I've learned and tried and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Keep trying! Play around with the layer or pre-comp until you get the loop and then export! 🍀
Hi Mike, I seem to be experiencing a bug. Enable time remapping only gives me one keyframe in the beginning. I can add a keyframe at the end (one frame before the end), but the loop out expression doesn't work. Have you heard of this happening? I purged my memory and cache but no luck.
Make sure you can see the beginning and end of your layer as AE puts the keyframe 1 frame ahead of CTI. You can also test using J & K to jump between keyframes and you may discover the end key keyframe is just not visible.
That sounds like an isolated issue on your end, so I would likely start by quitting AE and then powering down your computer. Restart computer and then re-open AE. Is AE crashing when you just open the application or are you trying to open and AE project file when it crashes?
I'd been struggling with that empty keyframe issue. Incredible to see how easy the solution was. thanks!
Awesome! Glad it helped! 👍
Wow your videos are so useful, i always lear something new, i did´t know the short cuts for navegate through the key frames, very useful. Thank you
So glad they are helpful to you!
Thanks for the help!
You are welcome! 👍
Yup Sir❤

@@mariyaustinova133 Thanks for sharing. 👍
@@mariyaustinova133 Essa foi a ÚNICA forma de solucionar esse problema, já tinha tentado de tudo! Muito obrigado!
@@mariyaustinova133 That was the solution. We don't even need to make the new frame to avoid the glitch.

I created the new frame and delete the last one and now the glitch happens a frame earlier LOL. It didn't work for me

How do I put automatic keyframes on every frame in After Effects? with the help hotkeys (time remap)
Can you please clarify exactly what you are wanting to do as I do not understand what you are asking. 👍
Do you know how you can add keys in (time remap) after the first key using a shortcut?@@MikeMurphyCo

If you're using a precomposed layer, clicking the starbust button next to the shyguy next to the layer name helped.
I've had the same issue with the latest version of AE and I eliminated the end keyframe and it worked properly.
Hey, while I was trying to open my after effect it opens and closes instantly, is there anything to fix it!?

enable time remapping grayed out after effects why??
So that I can better help you, can you provide more details about what are trying to do with Time Remapping and what steps you are taking?
@@MikeMurphyCo i sorted it out it was in the form of like circle only what i did precomposed it worked then
