No it's not a coaching league or else the "greatest coach of all time" wouldn't have gone 83-101 without the best QB of all time. It's a quarterback league, and the Jets don't have a good enough one. Rodgers is broken down and can't move around without hurting himself. This league is for the young and dual threat QBs now. Brady won one when he was 40 but he was a once in a lifetime QB obviously.
The Jets did the same thing after they bailed on Zach Wilson and expected him to be good to win now before he was ever ready to. They assembled a collection of gd players from the draft, and expected them to gel instantly around a young QB who needed more time to develop. They expected the gel chemistry’s to instantly work also around Rodgers. Fact is, this team never established a chemistry around ZW; and now they’re repeating a similar pattern with ARod.

Broncos fan here It was a ugly game on both sides ..and hack.play calling is so predictable..we dealt with that when he was in denver.he does not make adjustments well at all .hope Rodgers is ok..good luck to you guys for the rest of the season
It is very hard to see that game today and believe this is an organization or a team that is a contender for anything. Garrett Wilson is not a WR1. He just isn’t. He does not have size. He is not a deep threat. He doesn’t take the top off a defense. He does NOT break any form of tackle. He is not a YAC plus. What does he do well? Route runner? Good hands? He’s slight and spindly. He’s Davonta Smith without the speed and stats. I would sooner trade GW than ever give him a cap busting top 5 paid WR contract. Is he a good WR2? Sure, but there are no top DBs he gets the better of and he is not taking over a game. He’s more easily neutralized and taken out of the game than he is taking over one. He’s not a clutch, money player. When game was on the line Rodgers wasn’t throwing to him. I have been saying this since last year too but I get run out of town for daring to besmirch the rookie of the year. This team needs to forget about those damn individual awards. I have no idea what’s up with Breece but yes, split him out wide, throw him screens, get him in space but put Breece and Braelon on field at same time. Make Breece our Deebo. Jets can't handle success. They had one good game against a bad NE team and was like we can relax we got Rogers, wins should come easy against non elite teams. Hackett isn't good and Saleh wants players to like him. No one on this staff is innovative or knows how to win. Vikings are an example of how good coaching staff can take career backup and make him elite. They lose their QB and they don't mis a beat we loss our QB last year and the season is over. No pass protection. No run defense. Poor ability to adjust in game. Failing to realize Allen is their short yardage RB for four weeks. Unprepared after 10 days rest to play the easiest opponent on your schedule at home. Poor offensive play selection. Poor game management: they were absolutely playing for FG for most of the 4th Quarter. (Is this a good time to mention that Zuerlein has looked shaky since preseason and they couldve stashed Seibert on the Practice Squad for nothing and they instead went with Zach Kuntz to be their TE5....no? Okay I'll see myself out.)
To be a successful organization you need to be able to make the hard things manageable. The Jets as an entity throughout times have always had the ability to make the manageable things hard.

Put simply and succinctly, you cannot come out there and give an effort like that in a game like this in front of your own fans on your home field on a day like today in weather conditions like that at a point in the season like this with their schedule the way it is, with Minnesota looming next week like this, in a situation like the Jets had after a divisional win like last week, in circumstances like these. You just can't.

Been a fan from Wales UK since 1980. The performance was terrible wtf the penalties unbelievable and the coaching, it was so bad tough games to come
