Jets had to throw 40+ times because they couldn't run the ball. Rodgers had almost half of their rushing total, most of it on one scramble. So they got a pass heavy game and hit Rodgers more than he has been hit in a long time. Two games in a row the defense never allowed the QB to feel comfortable in the pocket. Both of the QBs are experienced veterans. Solid defensive work.
I think the Broncos are really set up nice for a sneaky run here next few games are definitely winnable it’s not a stretch to say they could be 6-2 going into Ravens game
As a lifelong broncos fan I know we can win against the raiders but expect turnovers lol. It could go either way with AFC west teams. I’m more stoked on watching this young team grow a winning season would be cool and a playoff seed would be great but thats not my expectations
@kentecaldwell4035 I would love to be 6-2. My prediction was 5-3, with potentially a loss to the Chargers, but there is definitely a clear pathway for us. Divisional games are always crazy, but once we hit New Orleans and Carolina, that should work out nicely. After that, Ravens is brutal, but Falcons are beatable, Browns are looking lost again, and we'll just have to wait and see if Cincy can get their act together. Chiefs are always tough. Again, I think we'll enter the Ravens game at 5-3, and we'll finish the season 9-8, with victories over Browns, Falcons, Raiders, and one win over the Chiefs
If Broncos win their next two home games they will be nicely set up for a little run at least to take 2nd in the division and give some cushion for a possible playoff entrance.
Denver was much better Sunday than the national media is giving them credit for, but that doesn't matter. The cards were stack against them for the first four games and they came out 2-2 with a two game road winning streak against upper tier teams. Sunday the Raiders are in town. We will be back home and the weather will be fantastic, 80 deg and sunny. I believe the you will see an improved offense, Nix getting some passing TDs and the defense will continue to dominate. As ugly as it was, it was necassary. Go Bronocs!
Thank you for your perspective, it is highly needed out here in the shallow analysis knee jerk black and white viewpoint world out here. I mean, the two parts of this game that people trash the most are Bo Nix and Coach Payton. Literally, and I mean literally, they could not have won the game without those two performing as they did. Not perfectly, but enough. I fear that since I was a kid in the 1970s and first got into football, fans and, (most) "analysts," look at stat boxes and "next gen stats" and let that feed their opinion. Yes, I said opinion. And do they even actually watch the human beings playing the game. Have they ever tried to get 53 different human beings plus supporting staff all on the same page? Jesus, that any team can win a game handily is testament to the skill of these people. But here they are, these, "experts," when watching the game, I assume all they are doing is watching the most basic parts: who ran the ball, who passes the ball, who caught the ball and who tackled and where. That is literally knuckle dragging Neanderthal level analysis. We have developed much larger brains since those times. How about we use them? So yes, I am with you. If Payton came out and said, "Screw the rain, Bo, and the weather, this game is all on you, you must win it with your arm," and then game planned around it? Loss. If he panicked during the first half and knee jerk changed his coaching out of panic? Loss. If Bo panicked and tried too hard then we would have had turnovers, sacks, yard loss, you name it. You know, caring more about his stat line than the game (*cough* Russel Wilson *cough*) Loss. In poker, the goal sometimes when you are given a crappy hand is to, "play to your outs." In other words, you play the absolute best play you can play every time it is your turn. You play them until there is nothing left to play. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. THIS is why they won the game against the Jets. And the level of unseen meta-gaming involved in that is immense. But most people can't see it. Even the supposed professionals.
@@JWLSportshahaha people think that to have a good or great game a QB must throw for 275 yrds plus and 3 TDs with no INTs. Don’t think about weather, defensive game plans, OL mistakes, WR route depths, sight adjustments and anything that falls in a football game. Nix made the plays necessary to win and so did the Broncos team. It’s incredibly hard to win in the NFL and especially as a rookie and on the road. Like wayy too many people think that the NFL and the NBA are supposed to be like video games. Then!! When a guy like Jayden Daniels is putting up video game like numbers, fans then say “he runs a high school offence” or “yea it’s a college offence” which makes zero sense
@JWLSports awww did it rain on him... poor guy... it never ever rains or snows during games right?? I'm jk, I get what ur saying, but he also had 0 tds going into it and those games weren't a monsoon
@@cyrcee77 so what. He went on the road vs a Jets defence who are solid and did what he had to do to win. Rodgers threw it 42 times and ran a handful times and got the L. I can almost guarantee to you, that if he could only throw 20 times and still pull out a win, he would take. Players and especially QBs don’t have to have godly like stats to win ball games. At the end of the year and they win 7-9 games, no one is going to care about week 4, nor should they. I’d be more upset if he only threw 24 times and had 60 yrds but also threw 3 INTs. That would much more worrisome.
i dont know what these people are smoking but to beleive Nix is actually good after what hes shown is insane... the desperation for someone to challenge KC is obvious

Colin is being strange about Nix and Williams.
Both qbs are struggling, and both are learning...

One day we’ll all be Bo-lievers 🙏
No Nix had a piss poor game but not as poor as Rogers
Well they were being pissed on.

Thank you! Appreciate it!
Homerun ? No. Smallball personified.
Little league homerun
BTW, love your content!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it!
nix is hot garbage, 60 yards? wtf are we talking about
It was an absolute downpour in his 4th game of his career. Kickers couldn’t even hit 40 yard field goals.
