Which day had would have been YOUR favorite? 🌭
I can't say because I love all Filipino breakfast food. Yup. A certified foodie I really am.
I saute the corned beef in garlic and onions.
Lahat! 😋
spam and corned beef🍚🍴😍😍
I have no idea what dishes are called but they look delish 😋
The fish dish you ate on Day 7, Jeanelle is called Relyenong Bangus. It's a specialty dish you may see on special occasions here. The fish meat is deboned, grounded and mixed with ground pork. They sometimes add green peas and carrots in the mixture.
kinda weird to have relyenong bangus as a breakfast
She knows my guy she has a video of making relyenong bangus with her mom 😂 may ma comment lang oo we get it ur filipino just watch and enjoy her content
@@rdu239 Probably leftovers. Leftovers from last night's dinner are typically eaten for breakfast as well.
i think she made relyenong bangus with her mom before
@@rdu239 inuulam namin yan mapa-breakfast, lunch, or dinner man hehe
If you had this every single day, then your family really got it together. Omg they're all so good. I only wish we have a breakfast spread like that everyday 👀
Well they're guests from abroad. My mom would go all out too when relatives from abroad stay with us for a few days.
fr
am so lucky and i didnt even realize it cos we have dishes like these everyday
They probably have a cook
they're all my favorite! for me, nothing beats a full filipino breakfast. now i'm hungry.
Jeanelle freaking out about canned sardines is not over reacting. I always thought we have some of the best canned fish in the world.
True. Our canned tuna is sooo good. Even if my parent sent us canned tuna from Middle East, our tuna still tasteful and not dry.
Not a fan of century tuna, the quality has gone downhill.
true, canned sardines are actually good and easy to eat but i still prefer their canned mackerel though
@@MsAdelsteen18 the red labels are still good (solid in vegetable oil is my absolute favorite)..
the flakes versions really went down in quality, though..
@@m.t.v.5639 I haven’t tried the red label, my local asian store doesn’t stock it.
Wohhhh i belon to a very different culture and food is so different between you and me but seeing the variety food has makes me think how beautiful cultures are they provide us with such beautiful connection through food......i wish you make more of such long videos in addition to shorts of trying food to let is know about different places
I've had spam and banana ketchup before and my findings are it's masarap 😋
Out of all the food you've had my favorites has got to be the marinated or Daing Bungus, the sardines in tomato sauce, and the salted egg with tomatoes all these foods were like what my dad use to make.
The eggplant and salted eggs are my favorite!
ALL OF THEM ARE SO GOOOOOD
You present food from all over the world quite well!
My favorite Filipino breakfast is always with hot pandesal + omelette / sunny side up with banana ketchup + coffee latte
Hot pandesal with fried fried + coffee latte
Hot pandesal + sardines + coffee latte
Garlic fried rice + any variants of Filipino ulam + coffee latte.
I rarely ate steamed rice in the morning. We always have overnight left over rice that is perfect for fried rice.
ive eaten almost all of these combinations at some point in my life and all of them feel like a warm hug!! im getting so hungry right now
Love the breakfast scene here. Food looks delicious 😋
The different ways of mixing the salted eggs!!! These are revelatory!!!
Oh man all of them looked sooo good. Don’t make me choose! Glad you are to your heart’s content.
I loved them all!! Filipino breakfasts are the bomb!!
Filipino breakfast Simply the Best!!!!
Gotta have that longganisa with fried egg and rice!
Or tocino yummmm. I just got some of the tocino spam I'm excited to try it
I love them all dear all of them are breakfast of king and queen you guys are so lucky! 🫰♥️🫰
As a Filipino myself, this pass the vibe check ✅💯
Relyenong bangus! 🤤 So good. My fave!
i am really glad you enjoyed the food of your roots take care always
Jeanelle you probably won't be able to see this but how would you prepare a dish like the one you had with sardines and tomato? I avoid eating that fish as much as possible but I know it is good for health so I might as well make something I would find tasty at least. Anyone have ideas?
The last two breakfast meal would be my top 2...
Simple but delicious breakfast that can't get enough🤤🤤🤤🤤
I like all of it! Sarap ng Filipino breakfas di pwedeng walang rice..😊😊
Breakfast! That’s a feast! Everyday! Lucky u!❤❤❤
My mouth was literally watering over these food. I love Filipino breakfast ❤❤❤. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite breakfast too is rice with sauteed sardines in garlic and onions. It's heaven.
I love all those dishes! It’s hard to choose 🤷🏻♀️😋All of the above
🇵🇭💖Delicious! Mouthwatering! All Pinoy food! Congrats, excellent presentation and how to eat these authentic Pinoy food!🤟👍
Tocino, corned beef and spam for the win! All with Banana ketchup hihihi 🤭
everything! I miss philippines 💖
Everything looks yum!
It's almost midnight when I watched this at ang masasabi ko lang ay GUTOM NA GUTOM NA KO 🥹🥲😋🤤🤣
Gabi Dito Ngayon at gutom na gutom na din Ako jusko 😂😂😂😂
Oh the last fish that you ate is Rellenong/Relyenong Bangus!
This is breakfast heaven 😩
My fave Filipino breakfast has gotta be tapsilog 😋 esp if the tapa is hella sour and bangus!! Yummm
Omg this is fr making me hungry😫
They all look so good! 🥰 i want to try all of them some day and im hungryyyy now
I like all of it!
The sardines in the tomato sauce look so good!! 🫶🏾
All of it!!! Love you vids!!!
I almost bought banana ketchup the other day and this is giving me mild regret. I got some other great sauces. Ah next time I head to that strip mall in Buffalo I gotta get the Georgian adzhika sauce, and the banana ketchup.
I love the pako, tuyo, longganisa, daing, tinapa, itlog maalat and tapa for breakfast.
Love the milkfish. DASILOG for the win!!!
I am still not into UFC Banana Ketchup though I love the Papa Brand I only buy the Tomato Ketchup. It is quite sweeter than your typical HeinZ Ketchup but that's much better if you are not into the sour and tangy taste of tomato. Perfect for hotdogs, luncheon meats and eggs especially the sunny side up.
“marinated milk fish”, “sweet cured pork”, “roasted eggplant omelette”... man why does food sound so sosyal when you describe it in english 😭
Caramelized sugar-coated stir fried plantain on a stick
The corned beef one is my all time favorite!!
All of them😍😍
Everything looks really yummy.
YES!
All day, everyday!
808 🇵🇭
on your day 4 at 2:07 thats bistek, the one that taste like adobo
All of those were bangers, though it's pretty rare here to eat rellenong bangus to break the fast. Even tortang talong isn't common that early in the morning. Still ALL GOOD, and they're perfect in that kind of rotation. The occasional longganisa and tapa should rotate in for sure.
Relyenong bangus is seen as main dish, a festive dish only serve on holidays or special occasions, kinda weird seeing it as a breakfast item
I think it depends on the household because growing up, we always had tortang talong during breakfast. We’d have it for lunch if there are leftovers from breakfast. 😊 I remember having tortang talong for breakfast when I was in college, the place I stayed in had them served and you can choose to have dried fish or chorizo with rice as well.
Tell us more about the salted egg...i am intrigued by the betroot red outside.
Its just red food color, the locals use it to not confuse them with normal eggs that they sell on the market
It is advised not to hold them too long if you have sweaty hands, or else, you'll be red-handed.😅
It's food coloring added to water to where the eggs are cooked. Other provinces dont do that process, instead they put a stamp on the shell to not confuse them with regular eggs.
The adobo-like ulam is called bistek tagalog
Masarap lahat ! Daing na Bangus my fave
Little fishies are called dilis or anchovies.
Pinoy breakfast is typically fried because the smokey and nutty flavor is good to pair with black coffee. That is why my favorites are those fried ones
Nothing beats Filipino breakfast. ❤
I wanna try all of it except the egg dishes. (only because allergic)
ofcourse rellenong bangus + daing na bangus. but the dilis will always be a staple super star for sure
There all my favorites 😋😋😋👍
Tinapa (smoked fish) + salted egg tomato salad is one of the best pairings for breakfast. Idk if you can even get Filipino-style tinapa in the US? Tinapang salinas and tinapang galunggong are so good. Tinapang bangus is alright, bangus is better dinaing. We even make lumpia with tinapa flakes and tinapa tomato kesong puti pasta. This tinapa pasta thing was a trend a decade or so ago. One of the most underrated Filipino breakfast ulams for me. Pork steak is just pork bistek.
she knows just how to make me hungry.
Waaaaah...sooo yummy!! 😋😋😋
I prefer well cooked sunny side up egg. When the egg white is crispy, i love that! Makes the egg tastier
"Which means...banana ketch-yup!!!"
Loved the delivery on that line!
Small fish are “dilis” or anchovies fish
OMG I am soooooooooo hungry now!!!! I miss Phillipino food soooooooooo much!
The experience is worthwhile if you eat those dishes with your hands. Classic Filipino.
Love ur videos☺
Jeanelle why does the shell of the salted eggs look pink??
Just curious yk
I think it is to differentiate them from regular eggs
its dyed pink to differentiate it from normal eggs :0
Everything is a favorite!
The small dried fish is called dilis.
belongs to the family of Anchovies.
ALL!!!
I can eat spam and rice all day
Instead of dipping the tortang talong in banana ketchup, i dip mine in soy sauce. Sobrang sarapp! They all my fave!🤙🏽
Btw, have you been to Ice Garden in Aeia, Hawaii? To me its the best shave ice in Hawaii. They even have Halo Halo shave ice. Sobrang sarap!
Mmmm!! So good!! I want to try Filipino food now!!💗💗💗
The little fishies look so cute
try corned beef rice and banana all at one 😋😋😋
you miss out fried rice, but all of them is great 🤣
Can you show us how to make each dish in a series?
My favorite breakfast meal is boiled okra, boiled kamote leaves, tortang talong, scrambled egg, fried fish/garlic shrimp.
Daing na Bangus (and it has to be the belly part!), Sardines in tomato sauce, fried eggplant, CORNED BEEF (GOSH!) and spam. But they're all good.
Are those Ataulfo Mangos? If so, they are great! Always consistently more sweet than the usual ones at the supermarket. And for some reason, Ataulfo mangos are always regularly available here in Vancouver, B.C.
No, it's "Carabao Mango"
No, it's "manga carabao" listed as the most sweetest mango in 1995 by the world Guiness records. and this variety of mango are only found in the Philippines.
@@ultimateragingbear174 Thanks for the info which inspired me to look it up on Wiki. And whaddya know, it turns out that the Mexican Ataulfo is descended from the Carabao! So they are indeed related.
I saute the corned beef in garlic and onions.
Every day would've been my favourite just because of the mangos 😩
I wish I could buy good mangos like that here in canada
Your relatives went all out! They served breakfast buffets everyday you guys were there? ❤️
Jeanelle: Which one is your favorite?
Me: Yes!
Traditional Filipinos would know that eating that small amount of rice is not acceptable. There should be more rice than the ulam (ulam - dishes) and if there's not enough ulam than add more but if you already have ulam finish it before getting more or you'll get the beating of your life (also rice is the most important part of every meal. Rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner) we also used to eat rice with some coffee powder or milo if we don't have any ulam or we just eat rice straight up
ALSO, that porridge could also be called lugaw
I actually like 👍 everything. Would love ❤️ 😍 to sample each item. Doug is having a great 👍 time ⏲️.
All
your skin is glowing ...
tortang talong is my favorite 🤤
My favorite is going to work hungry
Tocino, red hotdog, corned beef oooooooffff 😋
This is making me hungry.
My favorite is all of them except sardines.
Me and sardines in tomato sauce had a falling out a decade ago. Used to be my all time favorite canned goods, now, I avoid it. It's nice to see others love it though. I never knew it's not common in other countries.
What happened to make you avoid it? If you don't mind me asking.
Even the century tuna when I was a kid that cantuna is one of my fav can goods but now I don't like the taste anymore it taste like use oil or lalasang langis.
All! 🤤
I like breakfast 2 the food with fried fish that looks like letchon kawali
