767 will always be my favorite heavy. Sad that American retired them. I love that plane so much. Thanks for the vid Quintin, safe travels and God bless
This was the first wide-body I worked on when I started with AA. We did a MIA-MCO, MCO-MIA. Just enough to knock out a 10 minute drink service. They would take this plane either to MXP or BNF during the night. I loved the design of the galley upfront. Those Main Cabin seats are BY FAR the comfiest seats AA had in their fleet after retrofitting the 757-200s. They had so much cushion on them. I will miss this aircraft, even if it was notorious for maintenance delays.
Been a while since I first watched this video, but its still just as good as that first time. What a great experience to explore this beautiful aircraft. Thanks for sharing!!
Wow great video Quintin! What a privilege to get to see a decommissioned plane like that! It was sure nice of the folks to power up the interior lighting for you! Hooe you're having an awesome weekend! I really appreciate you and your channel! Mark in Iowa.
Oh, i remember flew the American Boeing 767 only once on Flight 1091 from San Juan Puerto Rico to Miami Florida with my dad back on August 10, 2018 after a 2 month stay in Puerto Rico and returning to Tampa.
I know this plane very well. I've probably been on this specific one... American used only their 767s for their flights between Miami and Montevideo, Uruguay. AA989 and AA984. Starting in 2006, I flew this route more times than I could ever count, often several times a year. Many of the 767s were quite old and would constantly have mechanical issues and cause long delays. So much that many Uruguayans would joke that the MIA-MVD route was "cursed" 🤣 I have some crazy stories myself about the delays on these flights with the 767. Nevertheless, I'm really nostalgic, so I was truly sad to see them retired! 🥺 I wish I could just go there and buy an economy seat as a memory 😭 THANK YOU SO MUCH for this wonderful video, I have subscribed to your channel! ❤️
Interesting that Business Class has the newer Boeing Signature Interior overhead bins while Economy has the older original 767 bins. Must have been redone when they installed the newer Business Class seats and didn’t bother upgrading the bins in Economy.

I flew the 767 for American Airlines my entire life sad that they won’t fly for them anymore this is my favorite aircraft 😕

I have flown MIA - MCO - MIA many a time on the 767...always great on a widebody.
avgeek dreamland. and no fa's telling you to stop filming!! thanks for sharing. fly safe my friend.
I would do a trip report in a plane even if I could not fly in it., just been on the plane is enough for me.

Some were only built in 2003.
I flew on this plan from Manchester(uk) to Philadelphia in late 2019, madness seeing it like this
Crazy coincidence- I flew this plane (N393AN) from Kahului to Dallas. Weird seeing it deserted like this. Rip AA 767.
It still operates for Amazon Prime Air as N233AZ.
2:07 "yOuRe nOT sUpPOSeD tO taKe pIcTuReS oN AiRplAnEs" the same spot it happened in lol
Love it when he put the gens on!!
Super cool stuff man!
awesome video thanks for sharing
I miss seeing AA's 767s, this video makes me sad... but I love it nonetheless!
Great plane!!
Now this aircraft is re-registered as N233AZ working with ATI (Air Transport International) as a cargo bird. One of the newer ones we received.
Cool stuff Quintin! Next time try to visit a Rouge 767 🇨🇦

when they updated the cabin with the previous J seat, they update only the front half the plane with new bins.
Strange isn't it...?
Did you drop one in the bathroom for old times sake
1:31 satisfying fan starting noise
one of the best built, just about the time you start enjoying the a/c some adult says its time to go. figures.
I remember flying it to Vegas from Philly in 2019 most beautiful retrofitted plane. First time on one
Wonder if this 767 ended up flying on behalf of (via Atlas) Amazon after conversion?
Do you know if Amazon plans to reregister the aircraft? If so to what?
Hope they turn all the 767s in frieghters than scrap them
Just one quick question, how do you make such nice intro sounds???
I will stay in this plane for a long time if I visit 😀
The business class has 777-style luggage bins, but the main cabin has the original bins from the 80s’
How can u get into there?
It’s flying over me now
Any idea what they do to the seats of these planes? They look in great condition to just throw away.
They part them out to various places. I actually own a row from N346AN when it was being turned into a freighter to DHL. $150 on eBay.
N381AN flew over just now
Power on 1:30
Why american Why did they retire the 767-300
I was mad before cause I keep riding American 767 cause I was going to Philippines
Post more!!!!!
