Thanks for this Simon felt right for my "experienced intermediate" skill level.. a variety for systems with unique parameters for instance: I got stuck for a while realising I had stored my Zgradient on the Instance domain rather that Point! I also hadn't used multipule Simulation Zones until now. See you in the next one
Very nice tutorial, I am trying to use it for a bit different animation, but cant get it right. What I want to to is using geometry node make 1 ball stop on plane, for example seeder just would be a ball and no seeds made, but this seeder would be with gravity and would drop down to the plane. But cant get which part should be changes as there is a lot of nodes.

If you have any troubles with the setup you can always ask around on the discord help channel, its usually easier to explain there with screenshots :)))
If you are talking about creating the seed spawner during the first part of the video then you may have created the geometry nodes tree in the SeedSpawner itself and not the GrassMainPlane. Make sure to create the geometry nodes tree in the GrassMainPlane and then drag the SeedSpawner into that tree.
This is a great vid and I'm learning a lot thanks!! I need help figuring out how to mill steel in an animation. I'm not sure what to set the physics to on the two parts. This guy does it here at 44 seconds into the video. I need metal shavings to fly off the endmill when it cuts the steel. I have the endmill model programmed to spin and i have it colliding with a cube for now but it doesn't cut or throw metal chips. PLEASE HELP. @Simo3D Tried doing this in Blender 4.0 the GrassMainPlane disappears and turns into a single point. No particles are spawned. Not sure what I did wrong. Maybe it's a Blender 4.0 difference?
I watch a lot of Geometry Nodes tutorials, but the way you navigate through and explain things is really great. Keep up the good work!

a question how can i hide seeds without affecting the entire project?????
Like, you dont want to see them at all ? Then just unplug them from the join geometry which feeds to final output. Its being covered in the video

Answered my own question, in 4.0 there is a skip checkbox in the simulation output node, uncheck that to see points.
