when there's snow, Marmot can be great. The hill is very well divided between greens, blues and blacks with a very good/large area for beginners. I've been skiing there for 10 yrs and i'm still finding some hidden gems.
I am contemplating buying a season pass there. I drive through Jasper every two weeks for work. Only $455 for a mini-midweek season pass. Cheaper than any other mountain! Thanks for the vid. It will definitely influence my decision
Well the whole eagle east area is pretty good( again, when they have good snow) and the caribou knoll( run #22 on the map) is awesome but the ski out is fairly flat. So if you board in can be a bitch, skis not so bad. At 100cm most of the hill is good. The minimum is 80cm. If you do go you'll figure out the hill pretty fast. My advise for the first time on Eagle ridge is to take the first open gate off the eagle ridge chair. You'll get a good ideal of where else you want to drop into.
french newfie I was on the heli crew that did all the glading and clearing in EE it was awesome! We did some hard core saw work on that mountain side, but still managed to blend well with the rest of the ridge. Love that place.
#46 run upper eagle flight run is a really fun but kind of short treed area. Check out the hill, not the biggest or most extreme kinda place but well worth a weekend trip. And Jasper hospitality is awesome !
@MandDSports Just went on the 4th and tried it out. Not near enough powder to make it easy for my fat ass go down that area. Also made the mistake of waiting till the afternoon to try it, so it was all packed
4:52 ... wtf lol. next time you wanna mix up songs add a fade to the end of the clip and start off the song with a fade in. that scared the shit outa me
Wow, was there on the 20th and wish I had thought to take a line like that down the mountain. Sweet find

I'll be heading there on Thursday for a day trip, I wouldn't mind cruising through those glades

Agreed Sugar Bowl is the most mellow on Eagle's east and Caribou Knoll is a great freeski area.
