Mike Sheehy If I would do a world tour, I would actually try to drive a different car in every country, specific to that country. Corvette in US, Aston in UK, Ferrari in Italy. Actually with my budget, it would be a Dodge in the US, a Fiat Panda in Italy, Mini in UK, but you get the idea:)

(I love gravel but that's just me) The road to milford is awesome, but I wouldn't recommend driving it now. Too many tourists driving into each other these days. Devil's staircase is fantastic if you get a clear run, I've averaged 104km/h across there in a diesel starlet, so that's a good target to try beat lol. South island is incredible.
The montage of driving through New Zealand in the end was one of the most beautiful things i have seen. Shows with millions of dollars of financing can not create such quality videos. Been here on the channel since 2nd day after buying 4C and it is really sad that subscriber amount got only about 200k subs in those 3-3.5 years. The content and quality of content on this channel is worth more than that. It is worth millions of dollars, pounds and euros and millions of subscribers. Keep doing such great job!
For some reason the new Conti GT has been the best design or redesign in the car world of the last decade when it comes to sports- and luxury cars. Glad it gets some air time on your channel!
Sam. We're loving this content. You're producing these videos, and the others for DTW whilst out there on the move all the time and somehow you're still firing out these vids. Loving this, thank you so much for bringing us content on car culture and social culture about other places all around the world. All the best. (I was sad about the 911T leaving, but having the bentley is cool, good shout with that)
I normally love your car content (even the Porsche and Ferrari obsession) but did the cars in that video. New Zealand is without doubt the most diverse and stunning country in the world. Such a special place...enjoy!
Digging the monk look in the intro. Love watching your journey, videos and content are top notch! An inspiration to all of us to keep chasing our dreams.

Oh and you thought Australian wildlife was scary....and you thought the flies at the 12 Apostles were nasty...wait till you are introduced the the NZ sand fly! ...seems the Cicadas are even worse down there....good luck on catching some restful sleep!
Moved to NZ from the UK 6 years ago. Wait until you hit the South Island. If you can, take the West coast road and take the road down towards the North end of Lake Wanaka - it dives between Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea and the view from the top genuinely changed my life. The mountain roads are fantastic. Enjoy the Crown Range in between QT and Wanaka. Let me know if you need a place to crash.
Sam you will LOVE New Zealand. I'm a Brit and I live there 10 months of the year and 2 months back in blighty (usually in the cold!) - you need to get down to Mt Maunganui (by Tauranga) and down to Taupo via Rotorua (go across to Hawkes Bay) and then on the desert road down to Wellington before heading to the South Island, via the Southern Alps, which is more like rural Scotland and Switzerland together!! Oh and get down to Duttons Garage in Christchurch and ask them kindly to drive their special Ferrari's!! Enjoy!
