    📢 Answering commonly asked questions in the comment section:
    1. Does the video only apply to Acne? What about scars, hyperpigmentations, etc?
    The information in the video helped me for everything: Acne, acne scars, hyperpigmentations, dark spots, etc. Basically anything that comes after the formation of an acne.
    2. What skincare product did I use, if any?
    Initially I started off with zero products & my skin was already seeing improvements. (I only used water to wash my face). Later on, I was using a gel cleanser from the brand 'Simple' & nothing else. No moisturizer, no toner, no serum, no creams, no exfoliator, no facial oil, no sunscreen, no facial mask, nothing. I didn't talk about any skincare product in my video because they were NOT the cause of my skin healing. What really helped me were the other factors mentioned in the video.
    3. How long did it take for me to see the results?
    For me personally, it was a matter of days where I started to see my skin improve. Within few days/ weeks, all of my acne reduced in size & skin flattened out. However, for the dark spots/ scars, it took months to really fade off. In short, a consistent lifestyle change were more quick and permanent of a solution for me compared to any products.
    Hope this clarifies! 🙂
    P/s: Recently I received a comment regarding me not using moisturizer/ SPF daily/ topical prescriptions & why they're so important + the detrimental effects of not using SPF. I want to touch this topic briefly: Personally, I've heard this a lot in the past & I intentionally chose to unlearn everything to get to where I am. If I still believed in all of those, I wouldn't have attained the skin I have right now. In my opinion, when we lather any product on our skin, our pores won't be allowed to breathe freely for healing to take place. I trust the body's healing capabilities more than any product could & the video is a proof of it. 🙂

      I don't use Moisturizers or sunscreen on my face because it's practically damaging our skin barrier and ages us. All creams made with water,because of this reason it requires emollients,emulsifiers and preservatives. This harmful ingredients literally damages our skin barrier and it ages our skin. I only use face oils on my skin because it doesn't contain any chemicals. But I don't use regularly because it trigger acne. All skincare products are not meant to use daily because it can harm your skin. I hate toxic carcinogenic ingredients such as fragrance in skincare. We can use skincare products but external use only. Turn and read label before buying. Less is more. Layering is bullshit because you're skin has limits of bearing products. Each products has different types of ph levels,so layering not a best option. One product is enough for your skin. Stop using chemical exfoliants and try natural and healthy ways like using propolis,green tea,tea tree,snail mucing or bee venom. Embrace your beauty. Retinol maybe reduce fine lines and wrinkles on your face but what about your body. You can delay aging by healthy life styles. First,nourish your body . Skincare always comes at last.Learn more and give primary ingredients to foods. Exercise. Drink water and have fun. My skin glows when I'm happiest. So be happy. Understand your skin and only give what you're skin needs,simple.

Tell him to take Extra version cod liver oil and if he is from America , you should buy pasture-raised organic eggs. That helped me clear up my acne forever. Whatever you said was absolutely true! Whenever I sleep and wake up early and most importantly have consistency in my routine along with eating home cooked foods , my skin was clear. Also when I was in my teenage I knew nothing about skincare, I never used any products other than a soap to wash my face. Once when I fell prey for all the influencers showcasing the products , I bought them and used it and it broke me out for the first time in my life. When I went to a dermatologist they gave me products worth 20k and it worsened much more. Once I quit everything that I used and let my skin breathe with no products and found my trigger food(cheese) and avoided , my skin became clearer and now I just use a mild face wash to wash my face. Just by letting our skin breathe, importantly letting go of having the perfect clear skin idea, accepting my skin , making peace with it and following a consistent routine when it comes to sleep and food helped me to get where I am now.
    For food, I just quit cheese and nothing else
    To people who constantly pointed out my acne, are asking for my skincare routine. Now I just tell them this whole thing and no one tends to believe it. Trust me, believe in your body’s healing capabilities rather than trusting in a skincare product.

I left everything and my skin started to heal, I am so thankful ❤, Guyzz! initially for the 5 or 6 months u might feel it's not working or not useful but believe me it actually works just believe in your skin it's incredible in healing itself, the only thing it needs is time and patience, use only water and a simple cleanser, just it and u will see the difference, hope it helps, thanks again❤

  • @verystrselemaon7573
    @verystrselemaon7573 3 года назад +8

    Congratulations for getting results :D It's honestly impressing how you stuck to the routine since it can be so hard.
    That being said, y'all who cannot get enough sleep because of your lifestyle, or are already following a healthy lifestyle but it doesn't help your acne, just know that it is okay, you are not alone. I know that feeling of desperation when you hear someone talk about having cured their skin and you just want to try out everything they did.
    Also, it is important to remember that your skin is the largest organ, and just like healthy people can develop cancer, healthy individuals can have acne too. There are many types of acne and many reasons behind them so it is better to read scientifically backed data and understand your skin. What works for someone is not necessarily going to work for you.
    Moreover, the fad of being against chemicals is just that, a fad. OF COURSE you do not need a 10 step routine and neither should your product have manyy main ingredients but to blindly believe that chemicals will damage your skin is not wise.
    So, this was just for people who do have a healthy lifestyle but still struggle with skin conditions, do your own research, don't just turn to skipping moisturizer and sunscreen in desperation. And you can drop a reply to discuss anything.
    She is absolutely right about the importance of living healthily, that's veryy obvious, but some skin issues can exist despite of being healthy so you should try to figure out what exactly is causing your problem.

    • @Thiva97
      @Thiva97  3 года назад +2

      Hi, I get your point, I used to think the same throughout my life because I've always lived a healthy lifestyle but never got my desired skin.. not until I decided to quit using products. If I never quit them despite staying healthy consistently, I would've never got my desired skin. It's not desperation to skip products like you mentioned, it was actually my lack of desperation for wanting to get a clear skin. It was surrendering to "whatever happens will happen" because I was extremely tired of trying. Desperation to me is actually relying on products consistently because we believe that's going to heal our skin & that's clearly how I was for the longest time. I thought i was doing my skin a favor for religiously applying a product daily but I wasn't. My main objective here is to give your body the power to heal because our bodies are more capable than we think it is.
      I'm sure there are many people just like me behind closed doors doing everything right yet don't understand why their skin is the way it is. I'm here to give them that power instead of relying on a third source. However, if you truly believe that a product still surpasses or is as important to a healthy lifestyle in every aspect, that'll just make you want to rely on it instead of your own body. I've thought previously that what I said in this video might not help some people because like you mentioned, 1) it's not simple to do that. It takes a lot of sacrifice and discipline to follow them daily. 2) However yes I can't speak for people who've tried this routine consistently for months and if they still don't get their desired skin, then they could rely on products as you said. But.. until then I just want more people to try the routine consistently for months (because it does take time) before resorting to a product for help. That's just my humble opinion for anyone who feels in their gut that this is the right thing to do.
      I know you didn't have any malicious intent because I can see that you've had a journey too from the way you speak. However, if it was me personally back in the days looking out for a cure who read your comment.. I could've believed otherwise and never attained my desired skin. So.. I don't want more people like me to give up before already trying for a few months at least. 🙏

    • @verystrselemaon7573
      @verystrselemaon7573 3 года назад

      @@Thiva97 Thank you for replying, I really appreciate that. I think I might not have been very clear in my comment but I do NOT believe that a product surpasses or is as important as a healthy lifestyle. My grandmother is 70+ and other than the normal wrinkles and stuff she has very beautiful spotless skin and rosy cheeks, she lived in the hilly areas mostt of her life and her active lifestyle and fresh food choices clearly show their effect to this day when she lives with us where we have grown up all our lives, polluted cities. And there's obviously no question of having used any makeup ever.
      What you are saying is extremely important, there IS certainly an ignorance towards the very basic needs of the body and people believe lathering a ton of product they don't even understand will give them healthy results, it simply won't.
      I didn't mean to discourage anyone from following your advice. We have been hearing it countless times how just sleeping enough and eating healthy and exercising can tremendously benefit most people with their conditions, your video will help people realize that better.

    • @verystrselemaon7573
      @verystrselemaon7573 3 года назад

      And the 'desperately quitting products' was not aimed at you so I am sorry if that came across as rude. I only meant that people often go from one thing to the other and then change everything completely and then skip taking care of themselves for months and then do something new again, not understanding that, like you said, their skin just needs to breath and the body is enough to repair itself. Skin doctors with years of medical training and research agree and recommend that people should have a very minimal skin routine. Washing your face, moisturizing it and OPTIONALLY protecting it with a sunscreen is ENOUGH. Other products can be used when you have persistent problems.
      Again, I do agree with everything you said, it's just that while quitting almost everything else is doable and even recommended, basic things like a moisturizer and sunscreen have been proven scientifically with research done on real humans over decades. DECADES.
      I am happy for you that your skin works fine without added moisture and doesn't dry out even when you use completely nothing except a cleanser, that is simply not the case for everyone and it is not about lifestyle choices at that point. I am assuming you do know what all skin is made of, especially facial skin, and how contact with water or cleanser of any kind strips it of some natural moisture and how the skin barrier can be affected over time. A moisturizer simply locks in moisture and you do not need to reapply it more than once on normal skin. For some people skipping moisturizer means their skin will naturally produce more sebum to counteract the dry skin which can clog pores and cause more pimples and enlarge the pores because of the excess oil production. It is not about the skin adapting or adjusting, it is an unnecessary load of work and pain.
      Similarly while sun won't cause skin cancer in most of us darker skinned people it still has been proven to cause visible aging. Which, I do agree, can then come down to personal choice. If one's skin does not burn and they don't care about discoloration, hyperpigmentation etc, they can skip sunscreen. People didn't have it in the past and most of the brown people still don't but we don't have a skin cancer crisis on our hands right? it's more about the general health of the skin and the look of it and someone willing to not care about it can quit it.
      Having said all that, I hope it is clearer now that I did not intend any disrespect, agree with the healthy life healthy skin concept mostly, agree that lathering many things is ineffective and even damaging, and only wish you were more cautious in telling people your process because not everyone's skin can work fine without a moisturizer. It might seem silly how adamantly I am stuck on it but it is a very basic need and it would be very nice of you to add a disclaimer or something regarding it.

      @Neha Yeah, I realised that you’re only stressing on two products: Moisturiser & Sunscreen however that’s just going against my 2nd point of ‘Letting your skin breathe’ because our skin will not be completely free of any products. We’re still lathering stuff on our face & in my opinion, our pores won't be allowed to breathe freely for healing to take place. However, I get your concern & I’ve watched so many videos of actual dermatologists advising the importance of them but me going against the norm was my ACTUAL healing point. (What an irony right?) I’m really sorry but I can’t stand for something without it actually being proven to have helped me (although it's backed with decades of medical research). I’m not here encouraging anyone to stop using these 2 products, I really have nothing against them. I’m just telling the truth of what helped me & with that information, I hope it helps others.

    Thank you so much & this means alot. I have gone through the same condition as yours. My skin was filled with acnes when i was doing exams with lack of sleep. But after exams i was working at a bank as an university intern. So i had to sleep early and wake up early with a constant routine . My face suddenly became better with zero pimples after about 1 month.
    Now i'm an undegraduate who is having exams more oftenly sometimes with zero sleep. Now my skin is getting worst. I had severe acne just like you and the way I completely removed my acne was the same way as you, just a little bit different. I started sleeping early, and waking up early. I took cod liver oil. I stopped eating any type of foods that has sugar in it. I only eat a small amounts of fruits. For eggs, I started buying the best quality eggs that are healthy. Eggs are rich in all vitamins, especially vitamin A. Vitamin A is very crucial that’s why I eat cod liver oil and Eggs because they are rich in vitamin A. And one big thing is Stress. Don’t stress about it. Stress causes acne. Those are all the things I did to clear up my acne forever.

    The fact is, we don't give attention to the root cause of the problem. We are more into buying products and hoping that it surely going to work. Specially these days, there are so much products - this serum, that moisturizer, that mask and what not!
    And it looks so overwhelming that you end up buying them. It is high time that we should invest time in our regular diet, sleep pattern rather than applying thousands of layers into the skin.

    Thanks a lot for sharing .. I was on accutane three times since the 9th standard and like you said it doesn’t last long until the acne returns . I think mine is starting to come back again looking at how my skin looks these days .. I’ll surely follow your steps 🥰 but I wanna know whether you apply sunscreen and moisturiser:). Please make more videos💗💗

      Haha I didn't notice that I had dark circles before.. i think I usually get them when I have lack of sleep. Dark circles don't really bother me so I didn't do anything to treat it. 😄

      hi, it's a local Malaysian skincare product called Randika. I tried their skincare for around 1 to 2 weeks & the cream was instead stinging my sensitive skin.

      hi :) yes I just wash my face with water twice/ thrice a day. Later on I was using a gentle cleanser only. I've also explained more in my pinned comment.
      As for exercises, I practice Yoga (i.e: Sun salutation) since I was young but I do that for my general health. 😊

      I'm from Malaysia and it's almost always summer throughout the year.
      Irregardless, I only use normal room temperature water (tap water).

      Take cod liver oil. Get the extra version cod liver oil. It helps with oily and dry skin. It is rich in Vitamin A, D, and Omega 3 fatty acids. Also stop sugar. Sugar increases insulin which increase the hormone androgen or estrogen and that can increase inflammation and acne. Trust me it helped me. Also eat pasture-raised organic eggs if you are from America.

      hi, thanks! I actually don't use any moisturizer to begin with. Many years ago I used it occasionally just because I saw online that it was necessary but living without it made no difference. 😊

      Hi, I think any cleanser that's not strong (i.e: dries out your skin alot) but instead gentle to the skin, & non-comedogenic should be okay. As for moisturizer, I don't think it is necessary for skin healing. I've also used natural oils like coconut oil, Tamanu oil, Tea tree oil few years ago... but for me the best cure is to let my skin breathe as what I mentioned in the video.
