Remember, bigger tyres means lower gearing... the biggest tyres are reserved for rock crawling when you can't change diffs or transfer case ratios... the windows are the backup A/C... and good work by the camera assistant to get us into the thick of the action... we are all Bruce's crash test dummy...
They're great rigs. I had a Suzuki Grand Vitara, loved it. When the engine died I replaced it with a Nissan Maxima FWD V6 engine and transmission turned 90°. Welded the diff and plugged the cv axle that would now point to the front. The other I ran to the stock transfer case, made for some LOW gearing! I put Toyota axles under it with link suspension, to fox 2.0's which the upper mounts were mounted to pivot mounts creating adjustable ride heights, adjusted by air shocks from a Mazda MPV and powered by the ac compressor turned into an air compressor. Mounted the power steering rack to the toyota axle and had a telescopic steering shaft. It was a unique fun rig.
Some clips really need to be watched 3+ times when you're both in it to watch the look on your face for the ride, then Tom's, then to watch all the stuff fly around in the back the third time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The jumping was excellent, the best I've done was count to 10 ,like 1 and 2 etc that was an Ford Escort Panel Van, at 120km/ h but that was when I was 18 😂 many moons ago, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Beautiful trails and scenery. Excellent driving by Tom. He definitely knows how to whip it and make the most out of a proper beater like that grumpy tracker. He makes what would typically be an off road zero into an off road hero!
Love it! A beater with a heater and take it stump jumping as we call it here! The cameras do that jump zero justice. Ive been over a handful of jumps and if you gota be over 50mph to clear the gap im putting on a helmet maybe a neck brace but im going for it! Bad ass looks so fun
Im not sure if Tom or the one who takes the outside videos is the biggest daredevil ! 🥶 😂 I know your videos allways are well made but i like it more when you have more outside videos of the cars in them.. Big thx to all of you and the effort you put in this videos ! ❤
Bruce: I wanna see you guys put a GMC Envoy/Chevy Trailblazer through the course that the Tracker went through.. More horsepower is always what is needed: right..
Those little Trackers do pretty good, but the studded tires aren't doing him any favors on the rocks! Reminds me of my little 1980 Subaru that I used to take on some pretty gnarly trails that I didn't think it would do, but it really surprised me a lot of times!
i diagnose that alternator as working from here, just needed some jam in the battery to keep it running when the idle got too low for the alternator to keep going.
F****n love it. I have a 2000 2 door "slacker." Love your content all around . Cheers to another successful jump and some sweet comparables . Cheers from Quesnel B.C. 🤘
Wow you have a Pontiac T1000!! What are you going to do with that? I always wanted to put the Chevrolets version of that the Chevette on a jeep frame and put a V8 in it and toy around in that. I had a friend who had a 2 door chevette drag car.
@@BruceCookfmx I lived in the little town right before you get into La Paz. Chametla I think was the town name. Basically right where the 1k ends. That whole stretch of Baja is beautiful. My grandfather was retired there
Shows just how capable a vehicle the Tracker is. You stacked the Deck Against It, poorly running engine and fully inflated tires. You wasted all that money on your Jeep upgrades.
The mark of a true professional wheeler is someone who can make it through that kind of terrain with the biggest POS you can find. That jump looked like you were going over an invisible bridge. I was thinking when I saw the hand controls that if you went short, those would go right through your abdomen. Not a pretty thought.
Peer pressure...Denny needs a cheer section hahahahahaha Yah would love to find some good shit boxes up here in the North with a group of us just for testing purposes but as you say for now they want premium dollars for rust buckets 😒
Bruce many people get called a Legend, but you my man are indeed the real deal Legend. Keep doing you bro!
Thanks buddy! 🍻
Legit genuine smiles!
That shit looks like so much fun!!
Gosto muito deste tipo de conteúdo. Muito bom❤❤❤❤❤
Lets give a round of applause for the camera woman doing a great job! The trophy truck was was the best. The look on the faces was pure joy!
Not an easy thing to video!
Yeah… joy and fear mix 🤣
@@BruceCookfmx I so want to buy a junker Tracker and do some of this.
Like button engaged algorithmic pattern shaken.
Hit that landing smooth the second time. looks like a blast guys.
Tom did a great job putting that old cute ute with it's collapsed lung where it was never intended to go.
🤣🤣 sure did!!

Hoping one day we’ll have a filmer for everything to always capture the best angles 👍🏼🍻
@@BruceCookfmx The drone footage adds a lot to your productions too!
That was intense just watching. You guy's rock!🏆
When you asked the question if the leads were tight, you definitely know how to diagnosis an issue.
Glad to see the bang I heard across the way the other day wasn't the Tracker (and you two along with it)!
Thanks for entertaining this old ass , good company on a rainy afternoon 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤟🏼🤙🏼🖖🏼🇳🇿
Is that the Australian flag? 🤔 👀
Tracker is a little beast. 5 cylinders and it can fly. AWESOME thumb nail
I didn't know they put 6 cylinder engines in those. I thought they were like little 1.8 or 2.0L 4 bangers.
Tom you wheeled it like a champ. Bruce I loved the jump. Take care guys.
He’s a wheelman! Not spotters here, just driving by feel 😅
Wow. That was incredible.

Nice job sending it!
Love your channel and everything you post Bruce please don’t change, the adventures you take us on are awesome
Thanks Alex, you got it! 🍻🤝🏼
Loved this one!! Tracker surprised me with what Tom was able to do with it lol wish you could get some sponsors to do even more stuff like this!!
that looks a lot like my driveway, only my driveway is a little longer and steeper
Rock on Bruce! I hate Casey LaDelle!
Dang bro, that was sick!!!
Those jumps looked CLEAN!!!!! And that little tracker looks like it would make a fun little overlander project rig with the right mods.
Totally! The frame is so square it would be so easy to build off of too!
Some clips really need to be watched 3+ times when you're both in it to watch the look on your face for the ride, then Tom's, then to watch all the stuff fly around in the back the third time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We didn’t even know all that junk was back there until watching footage 🤣😬 Should probably check next time
However you redo the (5 cylinder overachiever) Tracker, it’s got to have a smile on it. Fun video!

Dang dude, Ya'll are nucking futs. Cool video. Thanks
No wonder Denny is not around for this one lol. Crazy stuff Bruce ! 😯😅
I think I was worried just as much as you guys were
Beautiful trails and scenery. Excellent driving by Tom. He definitely knows how to whip it and make the most out of a proper beater like that grumpy tracker. He makes what would typically be an off road zero into an off road hero!
Definitely knows his way around a beater! His specialty 👌🏻
Sure glad ya didn't try 48...! Thanx !
Right!? 😳
I was watching it at double speed, and it still looked too slow for the jump. I'm glad you made it
Love that Tracker. It soldiers on like a champ. Yous guys need to give it more love.
Should be another video with it coming before long
But might not be loving
Dude that first hit was perfect!
Welllll, perfectly just avoided disaster 🤣 6-8’ further is perfect

The haircut looks sharp!
Thanks! Big change 😅
@@BruceCookfmx No doubt, you look good with long hair but I think the short hair suits you.
Wow that was impressive, i was totally nervous for both you and Tom!
Ditto 🤣🍻
Tom is a driver for sure. Definitely put that Tracker thru places that it had no business being at.
👍 Always Beautiful View Out There
ABSOFUKKINLUTELY AWESOME. The trophy truck run with the little bounce and the jumping, totally BADASSERY.
🤣🤣 thank you 🍻
Nice that was close 😊
The faces of anticipation are priceless 😂

Right on do the Hoopty hoop!
Keep the great content coming!
Sick video. Those jumps are big folks. I don’t like them. 😆
Whew. I will watch without the jumps Bruce. Nerve racking just to watch from comfort of my chair!
No helmets, just old seat belt/shoulder harness. At 78 I'm too old for that kinda fun. Maybe in a 20 year old Volvo?

You guys are awesome, and nuts
Adrenaline junkies make such entertaining content lol! I would have had to change my shorts after the first jump 🤣
So awesome! Loved the wheeling and was sketched seeing if the jump was gonna work haha could feel the nerves 😬 😅😂🤘🇨🇦
Getting more nervous with age or something…
Or maybe because the last jump was almost a front flip 🤣 that one was scary
Looks like alot of fun
SO fun! 😅🍻
i diagnose that alternator as working from here, just needed some jam in the battery to keep it running when the idle got too low for the alternator to keep going.
Both terminals being loose isn’t ideal I guess 🤣
This was awesome
You reslly want to have some fun lift that tracker up some with atleast some 31 in tires and drop a rotery moter in it!😉

Heck ya! A 2 door would be that much more capable. Love them
More jumps!!!!!!
Awesome video. Makes me want to jump my superduty.
You should!
Wee bit of flight time off that 2nd whoop lol
Wish we caught us veering to the left and almost into the trees/rock 🤣
Great video! On a side note Bruce what tire do you run on your Jeep?
40x13.5R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers

My friend Dwight use to race trophy trucks in the Baja 1k This was just as entertaining if not more 💀💀💪🏻 😂
I did the last baja 1000… it felt similar in that they both have 4 tires 🤣

Couldn’t agree more! “Fast” being used loosely

Not many inches to spare 😅😅

Man, pucker up and go
That’s what it comes down to
Would like to know where this trail is would be fun to try my truck up it

I’ve thought about that before… choose not to too much 😬
" They see me rollin'. They hatin'."
Definitely ridin dirty
Denny needs a sh!t box then we can see if it brings out the wild side in him and..... if he can keep up with Bruce and Tom hahahaha
Keep in mind Denny cares about his personal well being a lot more or has the part of the brain we lack, not sure 🤣🤣
And also if shit boxes were still priced appropriately for being shit boxes 😪

There not called Goats for no reason buddy haha
Jumping a car... lol.
I don't wanna watch 😅
Why not were helmets when doing stuff like that just in case ? you no kids will try what they see you guys do. think about it.
The other thing you proved is that you can get out off the pavement and see something else with not the greatest vehicles. Road kill garage style.
100%! There’s plenty of stuff you can see in a stock car 👍🏼
