Something new to try. Looks like that gelli plate comes out today. This technique reminds me of something we learned in grade school (back in sixties). We would lay down layers of crayons on a sheet of paper and then cover with black India ink. After the ink was dry we would etch out designs. That’s probably when my world of mixed media started. Thank you for sharing and the memories.
This takes me back to junior school doing brass rubbings. You have added the gel plate to add to the fun. I love it. Thanks for your time and talent Teresa.😍😍
Hello again! It was so wonderful to see your video a couple weeks ago but as usual, I was watching from the t.v. & couldn’t comment. As always, I really enjoyed your video. I’ve been working with my gel press a lot lately. Just love this technique. I can’t wait to get home & try it. We are on vacation & I didn’t bring my gel press. Once again, thank you so much for all you share, you are so inspiring! (Peg)
This is new to me, what a great idea to use a household candle and household textures! One question: I don't see you wait for the paint to dry before putting on the next color of paint. Is waiting not necessary? Thank you for the inspiration! 🌷 Marjan

Gosh. I haven't done that since I was a child - making my own 'scraperboard'. Thanks for the memories.

Thankyou. The first layer of paint dried quickly as it was quite thin, so I didn't have to wait. I would advise checking before adding the next layer.
TFS this idea!
Precioso!!
Que tipo de papel es el que utilizas al inicio con la vela?
