Howl Of A Dog is a small nonprofit animal rescue organization located in Romania. Our commitment is to rescue abandoned, neglected and abused dogs from the streets or from overcrowded public shelters and to find them suitable loving forever homes.

Unfortunately this is the world we live in now. Where kindness and compassion ❤️ and just plain love is seen as a weakness that needs to be done away with. Our society is teaching people that the weak perish and the strong survive. So to should compassion to the weak is seen as weak. So if we can't or won't show any love or compassion to those less fortunate than how can we show love and compassion to our 4 legged friends.? Luckily there's still strong people out there who don't see love and respect and compassion as a weakness and our willing to help these dogs and cats who are unable to help themselves. It breaks my heart ❤️ to see these animals abused neglected and suffering. However it also warms my heart ❤️ to see organizations like howl of a dog who are able to give these animals a second chance at life. Keep up the awesome work. 🙏🙏❤❤.
It burns me up that some people are so cruel and heartless. But then we see these wonderful acts of kindness. So happy these two found a loving family and thanks to the ones who contacted Howl of a Dog!

Abandoning a mother with her puppy is twice as heart breaking.
Thank you to the people who contacted Howl of a Dog, the vet's office staff and the adoptive family for keeping Mama Dog and her baby together, and adding another puppy to the family. It was heart warming to see this dog family playing in the yard of a loving forever family. Thank you to all who made it possible.
Glad to see them get out of that parking lot and into a loving home! Wishing them a great life!

What do people think when they drive past the dogs? that the next one takes care of it? and then the next one thinks the same? Or do they simply lack empathy? Then such people should not live on the beautiful earth. Thank you for the rescue 🐾💚
There are many stray and abandoned dogs in Romania, so people have become desensitized to their suffering. The more they are, the less visible they become, just part of the "landscape"

I have to admit, that I probably would have passed on without doing anything.
But not because of contempt for that kind soul, but because I'd have though the dog belongs to someone in the store/neighbourhood and is just chilling in the parking lot, going by her being clean, healthy, well fed, well behaved and most importantly having a toy with her. I used to know a few dogs, who would just chill in the open and on parking lots all the while having loving homes. During high school we even had a dog visiting from a nearby restaurant (about 1km of distance) regularly on its own and chilling in classrooms during classes.
It's the Best responsibility I have ever known and I love it xxx

compassion and responsibility is, has been, and always will be the task of a few in this large, dysfunctional human family. the main focus in this family is superficial and material, but not emotional. i don't know how much more time humanity needs to get better at this. however, these small moments of light and joy that you carry into the day with how you change the lives of these animals for the better greatly helps to not lose hope and to keep at it to make things better. 💕thank you so so much!

I am partial to black dogs. Nora reminds me of my black Beagle mix, Gunny. Nora’s sweet little pup Eva is a doll and I’m relieved a kind person adopted them both. They got a good deal for sure. Nice ending. ❤🐕

Parfois je conçois que certains d'entre nous répondent par l'indifférence en prétextant qu'ils sont trop nombreux mais judtement à mon humble avis c'est avec des esprits comme cela que nous avançons pas moi je suis estomaquée et même consternée par certains ..heureusement pas tous à mettre dans le même sac de sans cœur ❤ car même si l'on ne peu pas le prendre chez soi il y a toujours une petite chose à faire ne serait-ce que de voir les gens autour de soi-même et il y en a bien 1 qui a un garage et faire comme des amis qui sont propriétaires d'un chien à plusieurs car le chien dort un laps de temps chez l'un puis quand il part pour le boulot en province il le dépose chez l'autre ils sont 4 Alors je dis pas que cela est le solution miracle negatif !!!! Mais mieux qui de laisser un chien inerte dans la rue moi perso je pourrais pas mais je ne porte pas de jugement sur autrui etc...etc...je dis juste que il suffit parfois essayer certaines solutions merci infiniment a ceux qui liront et comprendront mes propos restons soudés face à l'adversité
