I couldn’t resist that dog. Putting the paw on me and rolling over for belly rubs, I’d be doomed.
I don’t get a dog because it would be irresponsible given my lifestyle. But if a stray dog came to me and asked me for help then I’d move heaven and earth to make it work and recruit my family to look after it when I’m at work. I’m sure they’d do it for a rescue dog.
Inna politely asking for pet was the saddest thing ever.
She's such a sweet dog. Anyone calling themselves their future owner can consider themselves a lucky person.

@@jamesfellin3388 I love 💕 happy endings also but she wasn't adopted yet. I don't understand how someone is bringing her food for 7 yrs but the dog 🐕 didn't get someone to adopt them. They had shelter but how did they survive in winter ❄️???? It's cold there ? Those dogs aren't built for winter . Thanks for taking them to a real shelter ☺️.Why not take them home because you cared for them 🇺🇲❤️.
@@irenemarano8241 dear Irene,!I did take in 2 feral Kitty cats and 1 15 year old pug dog that no one else would take in because he's incontinent and I watch him like a father watching his child and a parrot that nobody wants because he does like to bite but to me we get along very well and I wish I could take in more but I just don't have the room for any more.

Our last dog was a rescue, an adorable Maltese who had been neglected his whole life. We knew he didn't have long to live, as his kidneys were failing, and the medication only helped him for a little while. But, in the year and a half he was with us, we gave him a 100 years of love. I can't even write this without tearing up...he was such a wonderful dog, so intelligent...he amazed me..he was such a quick learner!
All of the neighborhood children just adored him! He loved playing with the neighbor's little boy! They would play until they both got tired!
You will not regret adopting a dog like Inna....she just wants to be loved, and to love you back! She is so sweet!

That is very true. A lot of people would poison them or ignore them. At least they had a shelter and it looks like they were being fed.

Day I got my 3rd dog-about 2 weeks ago, a 3 month old lovey pup who's a lab/? mix, she sat on my lap in the drive home, and promptly fell asleep. I was afraid to even move for fear she'd wake up.
I get that, lol. Reminds me of a sign board outside a vet clinic known for making funny signs.
“She believed she could. But her cat was asleep on her lap, so she didn’t.”

Dogs are extremely awesome, as are those who rescue the ones who are out there suffering.
I am glad that these dogs will get a chance to experience love before they pass. The gift of unconditional love is priceless. Every day my doggo comes to say hello to me is a blessing. I just get a little sad knowing that there will be a day when that doesn't happen, just like every doggo I've had before. That is why I always try to give them as much love in return as I possibly can. They deserve it.
Since I taught my current dog not to jump up (because she's big and strong and could hurt somebody if she did) she now comes and sits and puts her paw up on my arm and pulls down a bit to have me squat or sit at her level. She loves being face to face with me.

I would adopt Inna in a heartbeat, but I have to travel internationally and can be away for a long time. The time will come when I am more settled, and I hope then I can give a dog (and cat) a good loving home.

When our last rescue dog passed away from an unexpected heart ailment at age 10 we immediately went out in search of another dog to rescue. We found an 18 month old female pitbull that no one wanted because she's on a special diet which cost $50 a month. It her case it really was a rescue. She was scheduled to be euthanized on a Monday and we just happened to walk in on the Saturday 2 days before that. To euthanize such a healthy young dog just because of a diet issue seemed terribly wrong to us so we took her. Turns out she's a very loving and gentle dog. She's good with everyone, even small children. She gets along with other dogs and cats too. She is treated well and is obviously appreciative because she returns the love and kindness she receives to everyone she meets. There are so many good loving dogs with no home. Please open your heart and home to a deserving dog. You and the dog will really be glad you did.....

Big fan of rescue dogs here. An old vet told me that dogs personalities can change dramatically depending upon how they are treated. I'm also getting older and I've seen it myself many times. Take a beaten dog, or a dog that has always been yelled at, or a dog that has been ignored and left to suffer alone in a back yard and give it regular walks and training and companionship, treats, and a comfy place by your wood stove, and a whole new dog appears. And, if you treat a dog that has been ignored or abused, if you treat it well, it'll be tremendously loyal to you.
I’ve seen this so many times in the livestreams from Takis shelter in Crete. It usually takes a few days for the dog to realise that it’s safe in this place, that food comes in plentiful amounts every day and that Takis, his volunteers and staff aren’t going to hurt them, then a whole new dog emerges.
Alas there are a small number of dogs that either take months or even years to recover but even then they only adapt enough to fit Takis shelter but never for a home.
Still, they get water, food, dog house, space to run and a pack of compatible dogs to live with plus regular human beings interaction. It’s good for a former stray or abused dog, but ab abandoned house dog often struggles.

God bless all the good folks, from so many different groups, in many different countries who rescue these animals. As an animal lover, it breaks my heart to see the conditions some of these animals live in and the difficulties they endure. I’m 80 years old, living on Social Security, so I don’t have the money to support these groups, so I hope that those who watch these kind of videos, who can afford to offer them financial support for their good work will do so, and give, as they say, till it hurts.
Without these precious angels, the world would be a much worse place. These animals have nothing but love to give, and those who have had the joy of sharing their lives with dogs, cats, or any other animal, as I see it, have been fortunate to have been able to do so.

I know , it’s hard , heartbreaking if separated, but if so hopefully they can visit each other , it’s difficult to find someone to take both together , and because the had such a horrible start , I feel they each need there own time and affection with their person, / persons , it also increases the chances of them staying in their forever home . 🙏🏾♥️
@@Tj-dd9ws I know all of what you said is probably true but I just heard the dog featured in this video has been adopted by a family in the Holland but his bestie is still in a shelter with a bunch of strangers which is stressful for the poor little smiling guy. When he needed someone to turn to in the past he had his homeless room mate but not now . I also seriously doubt if they will ever see each other again if one of them is in Holland and the other one gets stuck in Russia . With the way things are going over in that country that dog could find himself in the Red Army fighting on the front lines in the Ukraine as a paratrooper or tank driver ; not sure which one he would probably qualify as a tank driver first but then again not having thumbs could be a problem. But he needs to get out of there and into a loving home preferably in the UK or Western Europe. I know it would be a miracle if he could make it all the way to the states but that would be a dream come true for the doggie.

@@mikoto7693 Kind of like when I was a 13 yr. old kid we got our first dog(Flag)when this lost stray walked into our yard, laid down in front of the front door and never left us until he died of old age 11 yrs later.
I have a Shar Pei rescue who was originally from Romania and would love to find out who saved her from the streets so that I could let them know that thanks to the kindness of these amazing people like yourself. She has a good, loving home and if it wasn't for whoever rescued her, myself, my family AND Nala wouldn't have found each other.
That is a GREAT dog. This sad situation has cost her dearly and also denied some deserving family of a wonderful family dog. But better late than never.
