the main thing im nervous abt is being observed by other adults, I don't wanna mess up or embarrass myself
Like what
its not that bad trust me they are there to support you and help you be better
this is what i’m scared of lol
@@darkshadow2502 in my experience they bullied me and put me down so much, nurseries can be very cliquey
@@madtingz2288 aw im sorry about that true some nurseries are like that hope you found a better place or career to work at
These babies are born smart and secondly, their parents trained them😘😘✌
This is very helpful, I've met the children and will be starting In September😁🥰can't wait to be a part of their journey
We’ll done lovely I have an interview tomorrow hoping I get the job
How did I go?
Im starting my apprenticeship in 2 weeks! So excited!
How is it
@@Enlifted its a lot of work, and some days are more stressful than others, but overall I'm really enjoying it!
@@miwhitty8316 I got a question so apprenticeships obviously pay you so little, are you ok with it or does it make you struggle with things? I’m looking to do a apprenticeship too but it’s always the pay that puts me off😭
@@Enlifted the apprenticeship ship will pay off! If ur just 18, the minimum wage is 6 pounds anyway. So you could be doing a job thats 2 pounds more but have no experience at the end of it. The average salary for like a nursery manager is 27k. It’ll pay off - trust the process.
Good luck to you .. I'm currently doing mine as well
I’m currently 16 years old I want to try this out
Did u enjoy it
wow! i would love to do this, earning a fair amount of money and helping little children in development
Unfortunately unless you're really passionate about the position apprentices don't earn a lot considering the work involved, when I started mine I was on £3.70 an hour.
@@Bedtime_Bunny I wrote this comment three years ago.
I don't even remember writing the coment nor watching the video and i now seek software development instead.
I've got an interview next week... I really hope I get it!!!! ♥♥♥
Good luck
@@darkshadow2502 Aww thank you. They wanted someone with experience so not this time, but nevermind ♥
@@singingsuga awe sorry I did voluntary work to gain experience I don't know if ud wanna do that
@@darkshadow2502 Yeah they offered that and then didn't send me an email like they said they would xD but I might yeah. Thanks ♥
@@singingsuga wait, they wanted someone with experience for an apprenticeship? good job you dodged them, thats not how apprenticeships are supposed to work lol
Tomorrow is my first day as nursery assistant.. please wish me..am soo excited
Hello how is it going ?
How did it go?
I'm having an interview for this and I'm terrified but this makes me more excited
hi ...how is it going ? hope you doing well
@@hafsamazgualdi5496 I didn’t end up getting the job 😞
@@Cloverhandcrossing oooh I'm soo sorry to hear that ...I wish you a good luck next time , I did my interview last week and I feel that it didn't go well as I was soo stressed and the questions was unexpected ,I still didnt get the feedback ...
Do you need to do a course at college, or can you just do an apprenticeship to become a nursery assistant? I really want to work at a nursery xx
If your in the UK go on the gov page for apprenticeships there might be some nurseries on there in your area.
Check indeed as well Sometimes they only want GCSEs
i’m starting mine on monday (it’s currently saturday) i’m nervous but this video has helped alot
How did it go?
@@charliemo4558 oh my goodness it’s been great i’ve been there for 7 weeks now!! i’m in the baby room and i just love it. it takes a lot of patience and a strong stomach though- soiled nappies are a 24/7 thing 🤣
@@cherripeek9975 That’s great, i hope to start next month. Do you know what your career can turn into after this apprenticeship ?
@@charliemo4558 honestly it’s completely up to you! the qualifications that you need to become a practitioner are quite flexible, you could progress to higher degrees and qualifications or u can solidify your placement and work up from there and potentially become the leader of the nursery room!!!
@@charliemo4558 good luck in your placement though it’s truly a great job and career to have ❣️
what to study to get this job?
I have a job interview tomorrow so nervous
How can I enrolled for this apprenticeship??
www.gov.uk/apply-apprenticeship
Thanks for this
Ok
Oh that Exacting i have question they pay you in apprenticeship child care care worker that you do ?
I'm in srilanka.i'm goverment teacher.if i done child care course csn we apply nursery at u k
I think yes it’s possible
long painted nails a complete no - no!!! Health and safety. NOT your fault, it's your mentor and employer's fault for not telling you. Ditch the nails before they notice.
į į its true it could get someone into trouble if ofsted came and saw that. There was a lady at a nursery I was in with long falsies and she was trying to handle a toddler having a tantrum and those nails could've easily scratched the child and then she'd have to explain to the parents. Wouldn't be my way of working

This job looks easy but they still have to do background checks on person who working in child care
