The flashpoint at Argovon involved Sisters of Battle, Astra Militarum/Imperial Guard, Black Templars against Necrons in the Pariah Nexus. The second part here involves Blood Angels Successors, The Atlantean Spears and Guard Elements, against the Necrons and Genestealer Cults.

Well now that’s canonical in my brain head.
I like the equalization on the space marine dialog. Always made sense to me that a marine's larger sized larynx would sound thicker and deeper than normal.
Every day I can’t get over the sheer greatness of this community. The amount of work done by the fans is...one of the brightest facets of the hobby. I don’t play. I was raised on tabletop games when they were (here in the U.S.) mostly civil war or WWII, Starship Troopers etc. These were mostly maps and cardboard pieces. Warhammer came out when I was a freshman in college. I got married and started having babies (my hobby lol). I’m trying to catch up on 30 years of lore. Thank you guys, you really are helping a Sister out! Baldermort, put your merch link in the description!
Oh thank you. Ah, I don;t bother as very little is bought. I don;t want to be pushy. I did an advert and everything. I have pushed as much as I can without feeling awful. Its just a mug and some tops. Its also only there as people asked for it. :)

I live for your short stories, humble servant. It's so easy to see the grand picture of 40k and lose focus of the sheer terror and intensity that each minor skirmish would entail, but you capture it

I have to say, I don't know anything about Warhammer 40k, never played it in any form... but I love the story telling. I truly enjoy the diction, rhetoric and vivid description in your stories. I could probably listen to Baldermort read shampoo ingredients and still be entertained. Ty for all you do Baldy!

The decryption of the forest like place reminded me of where I grew up as a kid rain bugs and sweltering opressive heat along with the sounds of bullets

They're not gonna call it a watch in 40k. To them this is what they called it. "The inquisitor looked at his watch..." also they're being more creative than just "watch" in the futuristic grimdark universe that it is. I doubt they even dubbed it the term "watch" at the time.
Edit: a space marine is too clunky for a watch hence wrist mounted gear

If morale is up, we dial back a bit on the floggings.
Pro tip: Don't make your sewer system big enough to walk through. Also in large cities, make use of frequent grinder-pumps.

Holy shit last time I came this early it was with an Asian 10

So want to be sure I understand this. The Necrons detected a major Genestealer infestation that was concentrated in an area that a little orbital bombardment would of reduced to a hole in the ground. Instead they draw out forces from the city and when they encounter more resistance than expected for weeks on end they begin reducing the biomass of the area to ash. Meanwhile the local Inquisitor is pulled away from her personal mission of wiping out Xenos races that might be a threat in a few thousand years in order to supply Xenos intel that every lieutenant in the Imperial Guard should be briefed on before leaving officer school. A wonderful example of the Imperium's greatest enemy is it's self.

I have a feeling that the story at the beginning was based partly off a story from Carlos hathcock he was a sniper during the Vietnam war and was known for killing a commander after crawling through the jungle for crawling through the Jungle for days to kill a commander he was so slow at this that vipers ignored and slid over him

Was curious, do you plan to do a lore coverage of just after gulliman came back? I'm a little fuzzy on what it was called. The war against nurgle after the rift came.
PLAGUE WARS? Not yet. But perhaps I have to admit I have not gotten into them yet. Also, with theirh new series coming out about tjhe INdomitus Crusade, they may be retconning that period a bit. Its a bit up the in the air.
