wow. I've framed a bit, but nothing that technical. I always tried to wiggle my way to work with the guys who knew the most. And then over time, that guy became me (at least in the circle I was directly involved with). But there is SO MUCH to learn! I did do a little trammel work on some nice timber frame braces, but with a router.
That’s pretty sweet. I don’t think I could figure that out unless I had a master carpenter with me. I mean I could do it by myself. But it wouldn’t look like that. Ha.
@@1974jrod I hear you. I find that setting up and taking down the scaffold for just the ceiling isn't worth it. But I sure love it if it is already there :-). Thanks for jumping in on this, I appreciate the differing viewpoints. Too often people think that disagreement is a bad thing. It isn't in my book.
nice job! would love to see a complete episode on how you use the construction master calculator.

It all started to make sense once you were installing those rafters. Parts 1-3 were a bit of a head scratcher 😂👍🏽
this was a good idea from you to show the final look of your work.
Sos un maestro en trabajo hermano. Te admiro eh fraimeado por varios años y siempre aprendo Algo de vos. Gracias
Would of loved to learn how to do that. Don't know about that circle saw blade .nice job
Very nice Tim
Thanks John!
That was awesome! I've seen the kits but i guess that saw blade is the bees knees when doing that work.
Great series
Thanks!
I got to frame a ceiling like this. The curve went across a full sheet of Douglas fur 5/4 plywood. 1 sheet p/joist. Never got to see it plastered.
Finally product looks awesome well done .
Dope. like really dope. But i think the hanger was little lite on screws
0:53 “You can shoot a little closer to your fingers with this gun” as my finger has blood on it lol
That is a very cool ceiling. It’s a shame thy went with carpet, though. Great video!

Bro....... you aaare 👌 awesome lol. I so doubted it lol. Jk. Thanks for simplifying it and teaching me something today
Great work just found your channel
outstanding ... it's a great project and TRUST THE MATH is my takeaway ... what is this word you say MATH tho
That seems like a lot of weight for those arched pieces to support, especially just toenailed in all around.
I don't know it I did it in this video, but it other videos of ceilings like this I can hang and climb around. It's very strong and works as a system.
What kind of blade you use to cut a curve?
Great work. Calculations would require a more careful study. Thank you!
Take 10 minutes and throw up a scaffold and some walk boards would save you alot of up down on the ladder.
I don't agree at all, it only takes 10 minutes to actually frame it. Don't forget take down time.
@@AwesomeFramers I speak from experience, but you are certainly free to disagree.
