Get your facts right. He didn't eat any brains. The spoon was sharpened as a knife and used to kill the perv through the ear.
Robert Maudsley; why haven't they ever simply segregated perverts from him from day one? They have segregated them from other prisoners for decades since. So why didn't the and why even now don't they? They want a excuse to keep him incommunicado! Why???!
What is the betting that at least one of the perverts who had raped Robert Maudsley was someone in a position of power and great wealth? Isolating him that way was to keep him from identifying them! If that weren't so then why are they keeping him in isolation when he is near 70 years old? An old old man. Only allowed a cardboard table and cardboard chair? No reason to keep him locked up, incommunicado and determinedly destroy him as a human being that way other than to stop him identifying who his rapists are and possibly that he also got one who among the 'elite' (if he did kill an elite perv chances are they would have lied and said it was a heart attack, but they would have wanted to punish him for killing one of theirs).
One wonders if it was coincidence that he was put in Broadmoor during the years that Savile and his mates ran the place.

I found Charlie to be one of the nicest guys, one could wish to meet,
Heart as big as a lion.
Does a lot for charity, never seeks praise, let him fly free,to enjoy life,
Especially with his mum,who is a lady.
I was a Bonnie Parker,he was my Clyde Barrow,I’ll never forget his
Kindness and friendship toward me,we had many laughs, many letters.

I read a story on him years ago and was so moved by his story that I tried to find a way of writing to him. Not in some ghoulish way, I’ve never done anything like that before or since. I just wanted to make him aware somebody gave a shit about him. My request was declined. I since found a documentary on him and found out that his nephew gets to visit him. Hi Sam, thanks for another interesting and informative walk and talk. Maudsley's situation seems like something from a movie...(I'm thinking Magneto in The X-Men). Pardon my ignorance, but why is it necessary to observe him to this degree? Once again, the link between childhood trauma and adult behaviour is hard to deny. Can't help but think this is another case of 'taking the easy way out' when it comes to dealing with deeply troubled individuals. As for the 'press' reporting on such folk, what can I say, never let the truth get in the way of a good story...right?

I think the book & film silence of the lambs is based on Bob Maudsley . He did have a terrible upbringing, he was sexually assaulted as a kid by his father. He went to London and was working as rent boy . When I we in the seg in Whitemoor there was a guy called Fred Low , I think he killed two cons , he had been in the seg for years , was not allowed to mix with the mainstream . I done 3 months & I can tell you it’s damm hard going . In those days it was a shower once a week , and exercise around a very small yard . Charlie Bronson should’ve been out years ago it’s a disgrace what they’re doing to him . Thanks for the uploads.

From everything I've read about Robert Maudsley, I'm caught between finding him a monster or a sort of vigilante. By all accounts he had a horrific childhood, but never targeted innocent folk, he went for those who he saw as sadistic. Either way, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near him.

I agree. He was horribly abused as a child which is why he hates paedophiles. Also he didn't eat any brains; they stabbed him in the head with a fork. I am torn on his glass case and feel he has a right to be a human being even behind bars. I agree with Sammykins about Bronson/Salvador. He should be out, supervised, but out.

Think there are six cells in segfor people in the CSC in , which Last time I was aware of six people were housed in these conditions.not sure who they're. As I left CSC conditions in 2004 and heard that Robert Mausdley, Charlie Savalador, Nelson, Big Robbo, Victor Miller were located..so not sure who is housed in that regime currently. They started using the so called cages in 98/99 when prisoners on the A unit began attacking staff. It was created by the home office in 1998 and became in use when lads wouldn't conform

There are many other prisoners who also deserve to be in solitary confinement underground for the rest of their lives. As things stand, the ministry of justice and prison officers aren't taking any proper action to prevent rape, murder, and serious assaults on the wing. None of the prison population are truly remorseful for their crimes, and they need to start falling in line. We need armed guards in there to run the place.

It's not just British people. In America people wore 'free John Gotti!' T-shirts back in the 90's, and idolised people like Al Capone and Bonny and Clyde, the South Americans make a fuss about El Chapo and Pablo Escobar, the Australians worshiped Chopper Reed and Ned Kelly. I think people just Fantasise about working class people making it rich by having one up on the system by evading authority (the law). It happens in most Western country's around the world, it's not just in the UK.

I was a cleaner in the block in Wakefield. There's no glass wall there. It's two cell's knocked into one. Double door entery. We whern't allowed to go near there. The block is an odd place. Six cells in the block upstairs was for GOAD. (Good order and disapline). Bronson and Hannibal where kept below. But then, there was another section with over 3 landings and possibly over 60 cell's which is located outside of the prison wall. This I was told was for UK spies, terrorist who are deemed dangerous to inmates and war criminals and government people. Now Hannibal didn't eat the brains of another prisoner, how can you with a plastic spoon? And that security officer at wakey, was a proper narcissistic guy who was known to stitch prisoners up by putting child sex images hidden in prisoners cells and then getting it spun. He came across as an anti pedophile disrespecting them and putting them down, and look what happened, he was convinced as a serial pedophile. He was actually doing a course to become a governor and the day he passed it, was the day he got arrested for his vile crime. His daddy was a high end copper in Yorkshire police.

It's an extremely stressful environment and most convicts will be looking to hurt you the second you let your guard down. Soaking you in their human waste or boiling water and sugar, good luck you're going to need it.
