John Farnham fans are a passionate bunch. You'll never run out of John requests as long as we're all still alive....thank you for your wonderful reaction. ❤
DVDs are not yet obsolute, I still use one. Love John, glad you are reacting to him. There is noone better, and probably never will be. He is a superb vocalist and stage performer, and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Hi George 😊 Glad you enjoyed this one. It is just so much fun and the energy is off the charts! Imagine being there... Thank goodness for youtube and the fantastic people who upload this content or we would never see it. I for one have never been to a concert of John's and so am forever grateful ❤ I think the next live performance to do from this concert would be You're the Voice. John Farnham's signature song. Keep enjoying the rabbit hole. It will not disappoint no matter what you choose to listen too 👍
Pretty much everyone I've seen react to John's covers says they're better than the originals (no disrespect to the original artists. Just a testament to the legend that is John Farnham!) Thanks for reacting!
Giving myself a clap...and you because you're reacting to one of our favourites, the one and only John Farnham. Had the privilege of hearing him Live. Awesome!!!
Amazing experience. He's the ultimate performer. He's got the voice, energy, looks with a bit of comedy thrown in. His band and backup singers are the best too.
I didn't know DVDs had gone extinct. That just shows my age. I use them all the time. In fact I still have my old VHS tapes but haven't set up the recorder for a long while. They probably don't work so well over time but I have some golden nuggets of film on my old tapes.
I don't think they have gone completely extinct yet but they will be soon. I say good for you for still enjoying older technology and holding on to those memories!
That was the best description ever of our John. Takes 3 supertars to make up just one Farnsey. John sure can work up a classic song and turn into something of his own. To stay on the high energy Rock stuff, check out his cover of Led Zeplins Black Dog. It is audio only taken from one of his warm ups/ mic checks before a concert. We are lucky that the sound engineer pushed the record button, so we got a chance to hear it. It's phenomenal ❤❤m.ruclips.net/video/F2Yi6TVi-sU/видео.html
And once you have listened to his version of Black Dog, you can stop comparing his voice to Mick Jagger (???) and compare it to Robert Plant. Much closer. And I can't recommend highly enough that you listen to it, whilst realising that this is his warm-up song. Most singers wouldn't be able to sing it at all and he uses it for his warm-up. That's how good he is!
You missed the kiss and the microphone and stand trick ! Never take your eyes or ears off John ! The band, including the back-up singers, are the BEST. The man at the end, pretending to smash the keytar, is David Hirschfelder, a renowned, awarded writer of many film scores. John pulls his band together for concerts from the elite of our music world. And the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra from John's home city is wonderful. They stated that they had never had so much fun as working with John !!!.
@@GeorgeTheCloud And the vertical stand throw he catches while singing.......then throws the stand across the stage, to retrieve again a few bars later.
I love that John sings a fellow Aussie bands songs.. as we have a small population most of the Aussie musicians would know each other well. Also John is phenomenal but so is Jimmy Barnes either solo or with his band cold chisel.. can you react to more of both John and cold chisel (and Jimmy solo and doing duets with John Farnham, Tina Turner and another great Aussie band INXS-pronounced “in excess” ).
😎 Yes, you need to play this one on your big tv in your family room 😁😁. Happy you’re enjoying our precious John! 🐨🐨🇦🇺🇦🇺 You can definitely choose any song from this concert, but I guess next would be You’re the Voice, then Playing to Win 😎😎

John said be careful on the roads because that night it was pouring rain. You should use it too. Everyone needs a sign off and there’s roads all over the world.
Re. Help, John wanted to learn this song on the piano but that’s was the fastest he could go so he just made it his own and Paul McCartney himself said that was how John Lennon intended it to sound but the producers wanted it to sound boppy.

John voice is just pure gold, he is the number one male vocalist on the planet, Freddy Mercury has said he has the purest voice he has very heard, Richard Marx, Sammy Davi’s Jr, Ray Charles, Céline Dion all say he is the best male voice they have never heard.. as far as Bon Jovi hair goes! well mate it was the 80s and just about every rock star had that hair back then.. 😂 keep going with John and remember always do him live first, everything from The Classic Jack concert is a must.. for the Whispering Jack concert react too When the war is over, Amazing Grace, Please Don’t Ask Me, The Chain Reaction concert, That’s Freedom, Reasons, Burn for you, Chain Reaction, See the Banners fall, Time has come, love in need, Playing to win.. too start you off as there many many more to watch.. enjoy going down the rabbit hole it’s a big and long one and us Aussie will guide you through it along the way.. 🥰😊🇦🇺

Yes, we cannot afford to even glance away during a presentation of John's. The violinists from the orchestra standing up and sitting down (NEVER done in an orchestra production), the band and backup singers joining John at front of stage. Plus the kiss; all part of the entertainment in John's life. He was only happy giving 110% to his audience. Keep reacting, we will keep watching. Another one to be blown away by is Led Zeppelins' Black Dog (Audio only, as it was a mic check/warm up song, but we are lucky the sound guy pressed record). Epic!
