yves, in an MTV interview, said that she was ok with the gay interpretation. but the story/message is basically "if you want me you need to love yourself first" so that's only when she eats her own apple that she can be with yves (who already did in her solo). and no... Skorea is not "anti-lgbt+". they are just pretty new to it
Yves and Chuu are definitely aware of how the MV looked and are fine with it and how it was popular with LGBTQ community. Reception was actually amazing since Chuu was already someone popular online before she was a trainee this was the best selling and most viewed solo song. The LGBTQ elements wasnt directly part if the story but it was done in such a good way. Alot of the music videos never actually mean exactly what you are seeing but just uses certain imagery, concepts and themes as a visual interpretation of the story.
Oh side note: the majority of loona’s fans aka orbits are members of the lgbtq+ community due to the obviously lesbian storyline in their predebut era and loona is well aware of that themselves and they always show their support for their fans like when choerry took the lgbtq flag in kcon 2018 and when they talked about the interpretation of heart attack and new mvs

I like to think it’s a canon love triangle with Vivi and Yves and Chuu. Also, the reason this didn’t get a “mature” rating is because they didn’t kiss. There are actually quite a few kpop songs that have MVs with explicit (as in obvious, not as in sexual) LGBT storylines! Off the top of my head I can think of K will's Please Don't, Sistar's One More Day and Red Velvet's Wish Tree.
Yves couldn’t see chuu because she didn’t take a bite of the forbidden fruit (all the girls from the last subunit has forbidden fruits yves- red apple, chuu- strawberry and green apple, gowon- pineapple and olivia hye- blood plum) idk if you remember vivi’s video there was a guy vivi is crushing on and it’s widely believed that this guy represents yves because she didn’t debut at that time so it also could be that yves wasn’t interested in chuu because she was morning the loss of vivi (it’s a long story on how vivi died but that’s why she is an android) NOTE: in the new teasers for loona’s upcoming comeback these three (vivi, yves, chuu) is seen next to each other in the group picture and their individual teasers got released in the same day so i think we’ll get more of this love triangle storyline in the next comeback 😂
