Less known artists usually go on tour with a better known artist/group. They would probably never do that especially when they are both capable of touring on their own.
I have to say when I heard this on the radio, I wasn't a fan but after listening again, I really like how they added their own style to the song and made it their own. Great take on a catchy song.
I would be super impressed if Lauren is playing the live drums on this. One of my favorite bands covering another of my favorite bands. I think they did very well.

I love both CHVRCHES and Haim...but I'm not sure this cover works... I prefer the close harmonies and backup that Haim are able to produce with their version.

honestly? its quite amateurish. lavren doesnt sound comfortable singing along at all, the background vocals are async and barely audible, the whole performance sounds rushed and inexperienced, even inaccurate at times. the mixing is bad and the parts upgraded into the cover sound forced. theyre cute but thats all they are.
