I do know I'll be picking this set up. It gives me the updated helmets that the original figures sorely need. The set also gives me a couple more blade blasters in holster mode and that's something the original MMPR figure releases didn't give us. You also have the option of displaying the male body with the team to give the team a more Zyuranger like appearance. All that aside, I'm liking the set for what it is. I know I'll be looking forward to getting mine.
I feel like the male LC body needs a retool to be slimmer like the sentai footage, it's accurate to the American footage, but still looks like a wrestler in a suit instead of a martial artist
also a retool of the lower female torso, so they can cross one leg over the other like they do sometimes during a roll call pose

Thanks for the review. Yeah, I agree with a lot of the things you said. Jason's face is pretty terrible though. His hair colour isnt supposed to be that light of a brown and his lips look brownish. Did he just eat chocolate? Don't like how Trinis head is bigger than Jasons as well. Still getting it though, too big of a Jason and Trini fan not to get it lol
Trini as red ranger with dragon shield would be interesting
I can't blame Jason. The design of the Yellow Ranger costume had always been of the all time greats!😊
I'm glad it's not just me that thinks that about the helmets being too small on the yellow and too big on the red
Getting this delivered to me tomorrow and I'm definitely planning to swap the helmets. Even though I keep my lightning collection figures with the civilian heads and them carrying their helmets I do want my Jason to have the proper helmet. Comic book Trini can have the original helmet where I did the custom paint to correct it
I'm curious on what the story is behind these two and why they switched. I haven't read the comics. I am also a new collector, just starting to collect starting with the Remastered MMPR figures. I just Ordered the Remastered Red, pink and green rangers. I have the Blue ranger, and older figures of Black, pink and red. I will say this. The remastered Blue figure I have does have loose legs. But he poses fine. Yellow should be here this week, so we will see if the legs on that one are bad. Honestly though? This two pack seems cool. I just wish I knew the story.
From what I understand and could be wrong. I think it was a teleport that went wrong and they ended up swapping powers! 😂
The remastered figures are beautiful! Usually if they have loose legs you should be able to push them up using their drop down hips to get rid of the looseness! Hopefully yours come soon! You won’t be disappointed!! ✌️☺️

I keep looking at the Lightning Collection figures but never take the plunge.
These are oddly tempting me though. I enjoyed the comics they're based on, and I think they look decent 🤷♂️
Honestly you aren't missing much. The line has a lot of issues. It's not really worth taking the plunge. A lot of QC problems, barely any paint on the figures and design inaccuracies.
it'll be like marvel legends, in a year or two, they'll start really breaking ground and getting more attention, there's a lot of good in the villain figures like Finster and Ecliptor, but I don't think the rangers are where they should be design wise or in how they're offered, they've got inconsistencies between members of the same team, missing holsters, inaccurate helmets, miscolored things, but they're getting better at catching and fixing things
@@redroversk I don't mean to be disrespectful but if you think Lightning Collection will be like Marvel Legends in 2 years you're dreaming. It's been 3 years since the line began and the release schedule is still slow and they are still messing up big time on things they shouldn't be. Not to mention any brand that was on its way to ML status their panels wouldn't need to be rushed and would be longer than 15 minutes. I mean look at pulse con. Literally everything got more time than Lightning. Even the board and Card games got more time.

They should give us an all green team from when tommy split up his powers to the rest of the rangers. It wouldn't be hard for hasbro to doit, all they'd have to literally do is change the molds to green plastic

All I need are three green rangers, id strip the paint off all their ankles and wrists, repaint them as diamonds, since I have all their head molds, id resin cast them, paint them green, and pop them onto the figures. For the pink and yellow rangers will be more difficult. Id have to take them apart, lightly scuff the parts, matte clear coat, fine the perfect green paint that matches, paint, seal, shave down the joints, and put the figures back together

@@Lightningcollector2021 thanks man i was mainly asking if the arma can be keep in a normal pose on the sides since the majority of the lighting collection figures cant put the arms towards the torso completelly they left a gap to the side
@@alfiba5733 oooh I see! I think other than the pinless, they’re pretty much the same. I just checked and there is a gap when they’re straight down, the same as the other LC figs ☺️
