Congratulations on the new camper! We have camped for a very very long time so here r a few things that may help u along the way. One thing u need to be sure to do is check all your roof seals around seams and vents also check seals around your windows and door etc every year. Water can damage a camper very quickly. You can also develop mold in the walls which would not be good for u or your family. Also u can buy carpet squares ( sometimes at the $ store and line all your cabinets & drawers with them to reduce noise while traveling and wear & tear on your cabinet shelves ( from stuff moving around. Buy small baskets or even cloth boxes with dividers( used for clothes) in them for glasses etc. tension rods on the front inside of cabinets will protect u from falling stuff when u open the cabinet doors after traveling. If u plan to hook up any where a good water filter attached to a white drinking water hose at the end of the hose to the faucet is important even when filling your fresh water tank. A good camping rug to put rt outside your door (will cut down on the dirt and wear and tear on your floor. For extra storage they also sell pods that u can attach to the roof of your camper. Great for tarps, lanterns, camping chairs etc.. toolbox, first aid kit, collapsible road reflectors in case of emergency. Some items u may already have from your van. I think Dave was looking for "turnbuckle". Looks perfect. Not sure how often the camper shell needs removing, one option could be a small subframe with flipouts to land the lift pads on. It's only a matter of time the lift jacks get damaged hanging out like that.
The huge smile on my face when I saw doug. I knew he'd be here because of the video thumbnail, but didn't realize how much I had missed him until I felt that smile on my face. I'm way behind on these videos because when the whole situation came to light last year, I unsubbed, cancelled my subscription payments, and just walked away disappointed and feeling like I was grieving the loss of an old friend (same as when my favorite bands break up). Only just had your channel come back across my feed a week or two ago and had such a strong wave of nostalgia hit. This is fixing something in my soul. Hope to see you guys together more often in the future.
