I've heard Michael play his own version of Eddie Van Halen's "Eruption" on the fiddle. He was just messing around, but damn.... he's fast and extremely creative. He doesn't follow any traditional rules, that's for sure.
That's true, yet he is also capable of hewing closely to classic fiddle style. Here's a great example I just found:ruclips.net/video/NycvImNtbE0/видео.html
Heard Mike and Bobby Hicks play this waltz in a hotel room in Louisville once. Just two fiddles for almost 90 minutes... well, not 'just any'' two fiddles!
Thanks Michael for posting this video. I also was surprised when I played one of those graphite violins last year. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it turned out to be. And nice arrangement of Gardenia Waltz. Thanks again!
Reminds me of that review I saw for the carbon fiber electric guitar with amp, for 200... solid construction, good sound, full size... I bought a parlor guitar for traveling around, it sounds good but the fret board is too small for my fingers. Wood is good, but it's like a pool cue... there are some advantages with technology that you can't deny.
The Madman holy 💩. I understand the sentiment though, I go to RockyGrass a lot and always have to bring my crappy guitar because it has to sit in the tent all day.
These fiddles can't be too expensive... I wonder if Michael is just endorsing for now? The fiddle sounds good and all, but Michael is one highly-advanced player who seems like he would be more comfortable with a classic..... dunno
You used the word fiddle instead of violin, but you think it needs to be expensive to be good... go back to where this music started, and start over. You missed something.
@@commontater8630 the comment says it's not a good fiddle, you're saying it's just not the best and he would not pick it as #1. It's not about if it's the best fiddle, it's an affordable, good fiddle, that Michael would play, if he wanted to. On the road or something.
It is a blessing to see someone do what they were born to do.
I get chills every time I hear him play.
He could make fishing line on a stick sound great!!
One of the best lines I've seen in a long time! Thank you!
Ain't that the truth? ❤️❤️❤️ 😄
Beautiful tune Michael! You're right - that fiddle sounds great, and you played it very well.
Michael could make a plastic one sound good. Simply the best.
I saw you on the Jerusalem ridge vid
Exceptional performance by both. You are gifted.
It's so beautiful, I'm crying and getting chills at once!
What a sweet melodic tune played by the best! He is just so smooth with his bow.
he's nailing the double stops !
Michael, I am a huge fan all the way from Texas! Thank you for sharing your beautiful music with us. Love it!
Hi Michael, you are "the BEST" I congratulate your accomplishment. Those that have heard your "FIDDLE PLAYIN" have been blessed.

Love your music Michael
Everything I see from this fellow is 10/10 wow. Amazing.
You know Michael kills it with the ladies!
Yeah, you probably do too, as soon as they find out about your sharp keyboarding skills.

This is my first time hearing Michael playing a song at less than 750 bpm.
With perfect intonation ;-)

Mighty, mighty playing.Nice sound hopefully ill get my hands on one someday
Nice to hear him playing something that shows how well he plays, rather than how fast he can play for a change. Great job.
I play many, many different stringed instruments from all over the world including violin, and I really enjoy listening to Michael.
You two are exceptional!

I guess he really liked it. He should buy one!
una musica che arriva dritta nell'anima
He is good.
Cool man.
I'd rather hear him play this than the lightning fast stuff.........but he's good, no matter what he plays.
1:10 Gardenia Waltz
When I know I’ve intellectually won an argument, I play Michael and dare others to challenge it
Weird.
Lol that looks like my violin!

@@alanmalcheski8882 Setting the question of money aside, I don't think this is the ideal fiddle for Michael and I doubt he thinks so either.
@@commontater8630 it's not about how good Michael is, it's about whether it's a good fiddle or not.

0:09 wuh uh this is Michael Clevelun
Why is he calling himself "this"
The sound is like its coming from a 1990s computer.pass.
That guy stoned playing the guitar lol
He's blind. LOL at you......
they can play the Dickens out of this songs!
@Chris Russell kinda lol?
Both players here are blind. And Micheal the fiddle player is also partially deaf. So.
perfect music for hot summer days spent on the porch scratching your pelotas
