    Felix is charming. I hope it's a gateway for him to get more leading roles.

    I gotta say. For his first major movie role. Felix completely knocked it out of the park with Paul.

    When I was 14 (I'm 66 now) I read the book "Spark of Life" also by Erich Maria Remarque. That book was a hallmark in my life. And now, so many years later I have the privilege to watch a movie based on his other book which my Dad told me to do read as well. So it hank you very much for this fantastic opportunity. By far one of the best films of this very year of 2022!
    By the way, I'm from Brazil.

    Felix was excellent in his first film role. I also saw him in the third series of “Der Pass” and he was excellent in that role too; quite magnetic.

    Franz Ferdinand wasnt the Emporer, that was still his uncle Franz Josef, He was the archduke . Sadly his wife Sophie (duchess), came from a much lower rank and she hardly was allowed to move in the same high circles. So the visit to Sarajevo was one of the rare occassions she was allowed to sit next to her husband.

      He actually didn't say that, but the subtitles differ quite a lot and also add a lot of context like who are the persons he is talking about.

    Wenn man sich die beiden vorangegangenen Verfilmungen von 1930 und 1979 angesehen hat, muß man zu dem Schluß kommen, daß E. Hasanovic und A. Schuch eigentlich die Charaktere hätten tauschen müssen. So bin ich persönlich der Meinung, daß Hasanovic viel besser noch den Kat hätte verkörpern können und umgekehrt Schuch besser den Tjaden hätte darstellen können.

    and it all had to happened because some golden spoon fed Austrian! prince was assassinated and three cousins did not get along. had it not happened maybe ww2 would not have happened. chain of events, 'dolchstoßlegende', very sad! especially sad for my country germany now responsible for two ww and being reviewed as such. and rightfully so. I understand that Europe was a powder keg at this point, they all wanted to go to war for whatever reason - but would you as a german want to lay down your life for some not even german prince being killed???

    • @harryhaller9386
      @harryhaller9386 Год назад

      I think you did not get the point at all about the reasons for a war of such a dimension. And I can understand the reason why you believe what you believe. I am a school teacher myself and I can say that everything which we all learn the official way is fraud and is completely misleading. You as a German, of course are being told that the guilt is on your nation. The winners always write his-story. The real reasons why war is produced is on one hand very simple and on the other very complicated, mannyfolded and obscure.
