- A quick solo lap at North Mountain in Darrington. It didn't take too long to hit the snowline, but I found some good dirt. 🔥

This place looks absolutely stunning. Wauw. Your video/editing and riding makes it even better. A pleasure to watch. Even listening to you talk while you ride like you do is impressive 🙈😅
Greetings from Denmark 🥂⛰️🚲
Ive been binge watching your videos, I love everything about how you ride and even the way you talk, and the way you set up your camera really pulls it all together. You are my favorite mtb channel now :)
your review of the radial magic marys was what convinced me to buy a pair for my bike :3
Welcome aboard! Thanks for the kind words, Karl Marx
Yep, I’ll have to check it out…looks awesome. I’m back in WA and can’t wait to hit as many new trails as I can this year.
Dude, same!
I live near Tiger Mt and ride all around Washington. Darrington is definitely near the top of my list for best sanctioned trails in the state. Out of the Blue with its 4 miles of descending might be my favorite trail there.
So good, what else stacks up on your list?
Crazy watching that deep snow turn into sunny hero dirt within 10 minutes.
Yeah, I knew I was rolling the dice on the conditions that far away from the sea.
Awesome looking trail! I love riding here in Vermont until late December when it’s 5 to 7° in the morning the ground is frozen and attraction is phenomenal. You just don’t wanna go down on it because it will shred your clothing pretty quickly, don’t ask me how I know. Thanks for the great video.
Nice, yes frozen dirt has a special quality 👌🏼
Very nice and convincing video. I'm doing my PNW MTB tour this May starting in Port Angeles heading out from central Oregon. I guess I'll finally add Darrington to that list after Bellingham.
Yeah shuttle or pedal it’s good to go in Darrington!
I love the area, and the footage! This trail looks impressive and very flowy the "GoPro" effect is huge here, what sort of grade is this?? and is this a blue or black line?
This was the blue trail called "Skyline" most of the trail isn't too steep, maybe an average of 12% grade.
Would love to see you on a gearbox bike!
Me too!
Looks like a cool zone. Will have to make a trip down from the Vancouver area to check it out.
Yes it's worth the trip. Some unique geography and long trails.
Yes, out on the Shredda’s today with super sloppy mud pie conditions and frozen topping every-wear ! Best grip ever
🔥
Man it's a dream up there. We haven't gotten rain down here in over 300 days or so in socal. Everything is a sandbox and loose! Making a trip up to Oregon next Thursday. Looking forward to some good dirt finally!
Yes, as long as you can handle the lack of sun and the wet! Our dirt is almost always all time up here though. Even in the middle of January...
@@SpencerAstraPOV I'd trade the weather for the amount of fantastic trails and riding conditions any day! (Buuuddle up!) haha
@_Jake.From.Statefarm_ it's really cold and dry here in Oregon as well. It's now Saturday the 25th and in the low 30s here🥶. Next week looks the same so you better dress for success.
@@harveycasey1900 Ordered some baselayers. Def not taking the minimalist approach! Looks like there might be a bit of rain in the forecast too!
Audio is mint Spencer!
Thanks! 🙏🏻 I changed the setup a few months back. Now you get clearer voice and more low end.
@ yeah man it’s great! I need to put some time into doing the same 🫡
Ice Road Bikers: Bikers with nerves of steel take their lives in their hands driving heavily loaded bikes across frozen lakes to deliver supplies to remote locations in the state of Washington.
Do you mind if I use your copy that to pitch it to Discovery? 😂
Evergreen's budget is at least 6X's of WMBC. Have built with a couple of them.....(also, I am who just sent you the bridge pictures the other day) 😉👊
It’s hard to say if it’s their skills or the better soil in other places I’ve ridden but evergreen trails are phenomenal. 👌🏼
I agree tiger mountain has like the best trails anywhere. Every time I drive up to BC we always have to stop.
So good! 👌🏻
Wich camera do you use?.. gopro?
Yeah a GoPro12!
Thanks for the video. Interesting you mentioned you expected some obstacles like trees or branches or something like that. I was surprised when you came upon what you expected to find and you stepped over the downed tree and moved on - almost like it wasn’t there and it would take care of itself. You don’t pack a folding saw when you expect to find this sort of thing on the trail?
Hey, yes I didn’t have a saw with me! Encountering the snow up top made me wonder how many trees it brought down. It’s always best to cut them out when you can! Silky just sponsored the channel. So there will be some trail work content coming soon! Check out the Yeti Ebike video if you’re into that.
@ right on!
