I couldn't believe my eyes!! This girl is like.. waaooo..! My wife and I watch her TV shows at least 3x on the PVR. She can cook but I can't stop getting a smile on my face and laughing at what an actress she can be. There is a bunch of street smarts in this girl. Keep up the shows!! I only heard of Nadia G's show today and I like her already. Funny, beautiful, and talented.
BTW if I hear one more thing about her accent being "fake" I will go nuts. Those people should watch this video (or the myriad of others) to realize that she really speaks this way. They've obviously never heard an Italian Montrealer before, and assume she's doing a bad attempt an Italian-American accent, which she's not. Plus, I believe they are confusing her character (over the top) with her accent.

her accent--anybody going into acting/broadcasting of any kind is told repeatedly that they have to have a 'standard' speech pattern. i believe she really does/did speak ''frentalianish'' from childhood, but worked hard to get a 'regular' accent early on. now she is free to enhance her natural accent as part of her show--you go girl!

I think the concept is cool and the recipes
are great. In this interview you can see
That her accent (if you wanna call it that)
isn't so overly done like on the show.
I know most if not all shows are scripted
but all that shimmying and swaying and
over the top Italian accent.....wish it could
be more natural.
