I used to live on the 15th floor in Manchester, which by Manchester's standards was tall! My apartment was facing the sunrise, it had big windows and uninterrupted view of the city and especially the central train station. It had a gym which I absolutely loved since it was literally an elevator ride away and the corner shops? So convenient! This made me miss that life! Everything was so relatable. NYC (Manhatten) has everything - for anyone - at anytime - including - at times - a sense of overwhelming lonliness - IMHO. NYC has the amazing ability to constantly remind you that everything is temporary - the good - the bad - the happy - the sad. It almost seems that virtually everything and everyone in America (and a lot of the world) has been thru or been a part of NYC and it's culture. It has it's own discernable buzz - and - Taylor seems to capture a part of the NYC story each time! Please always remember and never forget - before there was "Hollywood" there was actually "New Jersey" (Fort Lee to be exact)!

I love living in a high rise condo. I'm in miami and unless you have more than a million dollars to spend, condo is really the only way to go if you are buying. The convenience plus the lack of worry regarding maintenance is worth every penny. edit: Also you need a cart for carrying items up. I have one of those foldable beach carts and its a lifesaver bringing groceries and other heavy stuff in
Where I live is standard for the building to have grocery store type of carts in the garage to be shared amongst the tenants. It's quite handy whenever you go to the grocery store or is moving lose items
This tickles a fancy that I feel like a large percentage of the population has. "I wonder how their day in and day out activities look like?" I've been curious how someone that lives in the city lives and this knocked it out of the park!!

I can walk or bicycle for my commute within a suburban town within a top 20 largest US metro area. And I'm in a ranch house on 1/4 acre too. Convenience in your abode makes a big difference in your life. Long commutes tend to lead to unhealthy lifestyle and weight gain.

Correct about unhealthy long commutes. Had a 2+ hours each way commute into D.C. for 2 years. Ended up with pneumonia and a divorce.
