On most models you will find a cheaper drivetrain with torque vectoring by braking at most that is not efficient. The new x1 and 2 series have the cheapest layout and xdrive. For xdrive and quattro a single lsd (audi uses torsen lsd) is not enough, as compared to a RWD. Si you need either more lsd's or some clever way for torque vectoring not by braking.
