- Ja Morant was on his way to NBA superstardom. The 6-2 Memphis Grizzlies guard had seized upon his opportunity in the league and blossomed into an MVP candidate in his 3rd Year. He was often compared to a Derrick Rose, or a Russell Westbrook.
But had the potential to leap over both guys in resume & production. But along the way, trouble always came knocking at his doorstep. From an incident at a Pacers road game, to a scuffle with a 17-year-old teen when playing pickup basketball, bad press tainted the once bright trajectory of Morant's career.

I know you guys have been waiting for this one. It's been over three months since I uploaded & the process I went through to make this video was very exhausting & difficult. So I really do hope you enjoy this video & share it with whoever you think would be interested by this content.
I will probably not upload another video for the rest of 2023, so I'll simply say it here: Thank you! This was by far my most successful year. So many new milestones reached. And it really gave me a different perspective on being a NBA RUclipsr. This was the first year I got to work on these videos full time for you all & I've learned so much more about what it takes to be a full-time RUclipsr. So I hope you all will follow me along for this journey on this channel as we aim to take things to bigger heights God willing.

I lived my school life in Sumter, SC. I graduated from Crestwood High in '06. My mom is even a fan of him and met him before he went into the NBA. He was not only is one of the best players, but he was very humbled. I hate and am disappointed with this downfall, but lowkey, I want things to get better for him.

Ja has had some issues with misconduct but he's far from fallen off. Seeing the Grizzlies struggle as much as I have makes me appreciate the talent he is and I hope he makes a massive comeback.

I like the not too serious attitude in your commentary. Really nice overview of whats going on. One criticism/feedback - audio volume is either loud or quiet in some places, some places had audio in one ear, the tweet sounds were super loud when using headphones somehow.

Every team needs a star player so that the fans have someone to watch. The problem is the star wants to be on a team with championship chances. Ja is the type of player that can wow Memphis fans. Even over a year ago I found myself wanting to watch some Memphis basketball just to see Ja.
Scary how fast he went from wholesome player and dad to gangsta wanna be.
I get why NBA would dislike gang signs and guns flashing.. He influences so many young people. If you want a gun just go on shooting range and go all out.

Wish you would do a little more of a wrap-up/review of everything at the end of these though. This one compared to the Kyrie and Joker one sort of had some reflection because of the stuff with his dad but I think these would get stronger with some retrospective to finish out.

I didn’t follow Ja’s story as it unfolded initially. For him to be this humble and talented. Getting such praise from former and current players all while putting on an absolute show. The young man was poising himself to be a top 3/ top 5 BOX office sensation of the entire NBA. What in the hell happened for him to go from humble hard working man to a conceited, wannabe gangster and liar?
