verry nice that you can work with ktec. looking forward to your next bits. The maxton splitter looks pretty cool but i like the elia one bit more maybe i will get it in the future. Keep up the good content 😁
Great work as Always Ash. Your thought on the side skirts and the rear splitter for the RS? Also Maxton website shows V1 & V2 versions for the front diffuser which looks a little different tryouts….. I think. Is one of those the same as what you put on. For the record, I live in Australia, so not quite sure we can get everything you guys have. Your intel on these cars is greatly appreciated. Legend
I'll have to check what version i have of the splitter mate, as for the rest of the kit... The side skirts don't replace the standard skirts, they go over the top and personally I think they look a bit funny considering the 'clean' styling of the car. The rear spats I've never liked personally due to the big rear diffuser (was the same issue with my mk4 clio) All i can recommend to you, is start from the front and go from there dude. Appreciate the support as always 🙏🙏
Yeah dude i have ran ktec parts since waaaay back, same with friends so to be tied in with those guys now is an awesome opportunity. Tbf the splitter isn't THAT low so providing care is taken, you'll be fine.
K-tec does some good stuff, much of which is just modified OEM Renault parts and (if selected carefully..) can be fitted without effecting the manufacturers warranty. I used K-tec to upgrade parts on my old Clio 182 Cup, Clio Trophy, Clio RS 200 Silverstone Ed. and my Megane 275 Trophy cars.. Never had any problems or issues with them and they allowed me to retain my Renault warranties. The only problem with K-tec (And Fords Mountune is the same..) is that they hardly ever have the parts one wants in stock and I remember it being a extremely frustrating waiting game to actually get hold of them. .. But worth it if one can find the patience to wait.
Oh really? Thats interesting... I'm sure those kind of things have been addressed now but i can understand its probably a frustrating experience. The good thing with ktec (even if you have to wait for stock) is they have everything you'd want/need for Renaultsport models, in one place
Hi mate looks good, you still using the original splitter?? Or did you have to change it?? Splitters look great just that front end looks dangerously low to me!!! How have you found it with you using car as a daily ???
Thanks man! Appreciate you checking it out! And i put the adhesive on myself, it really didn't need it but i did it just for extra easy mounting and lining up
I remember my first alternator swap to a k100 hellcat diffuser, honestly would never change the battery again, my mark 7 Fiat multipla simply couldn't keep up with it, too much whitwall for me
@@isaiahde-love9551 without incriminating myself... The car has been up to able speeds and it's not even dropped 1mm 😂🫣 Double sided for placement and the guided screws are absolutely plenty mate, also means you don't have to drill wide bore holes for the hardware that comes with the splitter but it's absolutely your call!
@@Max-fs4hg I'm pretty sure the trophy wheels would fit... Only issue is they'll be a bit big, 19's will probably look a bit silly on a clio... Wheels are such a personal taste mate, and if its the same as the rs models the stud pattern should be 114.3x5 which is a Jap fitment so there are LOADS of options

RS monitor should be spec'd with the car dude, you'll have to get it activated at your dealer... If you already have it you can customise the whole hud and have exactly what you want on the screen. Check out my first meg video and i got through the whole app pretty in depth 👌
No mate i imagine as its abs plastic at a high enough speed it'll probably be flexing... Realistically i may feel a bit different up the top end but nothing i've noticed, and its not chassis mounted so i imagine benefits besides visual are minimal
Please can you do a video on the Megane Mk4 jacking points with the axle stand points front & rear. Iv come from owning high performance Fords. Got my Meg recently and finding info on where to place the axle stands front and rear is a complete joke. Search urself mate and look online. So much dumb info and mixed information.. Do a video on this please!
I just use the 4 designated jacking points on the car mate. Would only use axle stands for wheels off work but if you need to get under it i'd 100% use a 2 post or something as you have to jack the rear up so much to get a stand under the front
@@VersionOneUK I also use the proper jacking points, my issue is the axle stand points. I also what to use axle stands for that extra safety. You will be suprised how many new owners dont know this. I seen your video and noticed you placed your axle stands at the front. Just think you should do a video explaining these points and safety. Its legit not anywhere!
Good news, dealt with K tec a few times over the years and always been great.

Congrats on ktec mate and that splitter makes the front so much better
Thankyou mate! First video of many hopefully!! Looks much better man
I love ktec, they were so good when I had my 182. Never had the chance to visit but it's on my list.
Go see them mate! They'll have whatever you need 👊

He has fitted the V1 splitter, the V2 doesn't have the air gap in the centre.. you can get both styles locally from Aus Body Works
Well done mate 👏👍
Thankyou mate!!
K-TEC racing Love it. Had a lot of K-TEC on my old Megane RS250. Front splitter looks great. How das it go with the speedbumps.

100% man, especially when its lowered. Gamechanger!!
Congratulations 👏 on the K-Tec deal splitter looks great 👍 did you go with the textured or gloss black ?

What screws did you use, ie what size
Another great video
Cheers dude i just used some medium self tappers. Can't find the box with the size on! Sorry!
please tell me where you got those rims from mate !!
