ABOUT CELEBRATEMERCY
CelebrateMercy, founded in 2010 by Tarek El-Messidi, is a non-profit organization that aims to instill a deeper understanding of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) among Muslims and friends of other faiths, by dispelling stereotypes and common misconceptions about him. This is achieved through videos shown on global interactive live webcasts of prominent scholars and performers discussing his character and life, as can be seen on this trailer.
CelebrateMercy also mobilizes Muslims to embody Prophetic character. In September 2011, when some Muslims engaged in violent protests against the offensive RUclips video, CelebrateMercy asked Muslims to "respond to evil with a good deed" by sending condolences to the family of slain Ambassador Chris Stevens. This "MercyMail" campaign went viral with over 7,700 condolence letters from 115 countries, receiving coverage on BBC, CNN, and The Huffington Post. This interview with Chris Stevens' sister recently appeared on the front page of CNN.com: www.bit.ly/cnnCM.

22 online broadcasts of "Transformation through Tribulation," featuring 25 world-renowned speakers and performers. Anyone with an internet connection can view it live. The theme is "Muhammad (ﷺ) in Mecca: Elevation after Exile." It will focus on the immense hardship that the Prophet Muhammad endured due to the loss of his wife and uncle, as well as the emotional and physical abuse he endured from opposing forces during this time. Finally, it will detail how the Prophet dealt with these circumstances with unparalleled patience and turning to God, ultimately leading to the distinct honor of the Miraculous Night Journey to Jerusalem and Ascension to the Heavens.
Our webcasts teach about the Prophet Muhammad's (ﷺ) life and character, reaching over 10,000 viewers in 90 countries, half of them viewing it in a group setting such as a mosque or school. Beautiful piece... MashaAllah....I would have like to have seen a mention of the message that the prophet peace be upon brought.... To worship ONLY one God, in private and public life. Going to Taif was to seek Nusrah from the ruling chiefs. Emigration to Medinah was to implement the Nusrah pact, Pledge of Aqabah 2,. We need to posses those qualities of sabr, perseverance sincerity,courage so we can work to do the same today. Mag Allah tala bless and give victory to Islam and Muslims,
