- Hello, my dears!
So after 10 months, I'm finally back with another vlog. This time we visit the town of Newquay on the north coast of Cornwall. I stay in a cute little fisherman's cottage, visit the Headland Hotel for afternoon tea and explore the surrounding areas. I felt a little lonely this time, but it was important for me to document these feelings which you'll see. I'll be back with another adventure soon!

Felt all warm and fuzzy when you went down to the bay the first time, it was right after you talked about missing Blue and wanting to bring him with you on one of these trips sometime… you could hear a dog barking in the background… I know it probably wasn’t the same type of bark Blue would have had but it still seemed like a bit of a sign that he was right there with you all along on this trip! 💙
Had to edit & add that towards the end of the video, when you were talking about feeling lonely and still grieving Blue… there was another dog behind you! Maybe I’m just in a funny mood but I’ll take those as signs! 😉🥰
I came here to say the exact same thing. It made me tear up hearing the dog playing in the background. Blu was there with him in spirit! All through the video you could see owners walking their dogs.
I felt the same way, blue was definitely showing him signs that he was with him. Made me teary eyed when I heard the dog barking right after he talked about bleu. Such a beautiful vlog Aden, loved it
Oh Aden, hearing you giggle while walking in the cold, cold ocean was wonderful. I am 56 years old and when I do things like that, people think I am just batty. I understand your loneliness without Blue there, I still miss all of my little puppers who have passed, no matter how long ago. Don't worry, he is with you always.
I don’t comment really I usually just lurk - but I needed to say that I’m so incredibly fucking happy this vlog is here. There’s just so much authenticity to these vlogs, I simply adore them.
I've said this before, but it's worth repeating, I adore your vlogs as I have very limited mobility and walking anywhere is just impossible these days, so getting to watch you explore places it so much fun. I really love the drone footage, it is such a unique viewpoint of the world. I hope the Sunday with Tom made you feel a little more exicted to be away from home. I'm sure the excitment of exploring will come back, but as you said yourself, grief is a process. Thank you for sharing this experience with us.

I always kinda wondered how you don't seem to get lonely on your trips, esp since the regions you visit have such unique nostalgic vibes. this one did feel different tho, it all seemed to fall into place to create this pensive moody atmosphere. and it didn't take away from the blog at all, it felt very grounding and real. the grief we carry can manifest in many ways and it's a crucial part of our journey to healing. as much as I would've wished you a happy snappy weekend away, I think you needed this darling.

i can't begin to express how your channel makes me feel, it's like my safe place since i discover your buildings. When I have a rough day, I just watch your most recent post video or I go and watch some of your oldest ones. I really feel at ease when I hear you talk about literally anything. And I can't thank you enough for the nights you made me laugh with your voiceovers, even if I was at my lowest moment. Thank you, Aden, for things like this and all your channel in general, it's always a pleasure to watch you.
Thank you for this, in the past 2 weeks ive gotten dumped, been told my health is worsening much faster than we thought, and am now in one of the worst places mentally and I cant tell you how much your videos help. Lately ive felt like I had nothing to look forward to anymore but then I watch your Sims videos and even if its just for 30min it makes me forget everything going on, thank you dearly Aiden.
This vlog had me emotional from the intro. Actually teared up quite a bit and not really sure why. Your personality just feels like home to me, like a hug❤ adore you, Aden.

Enjoyed this Vlog Aden. Yes, seeing you grieving for Blue and feeling lonely is healing. Its been 11 years since I lost my Jazz, but, still feel the loss 😢 it's just easier to deal with. Losing your best friend is not easily forgotten. The Vlog itself was so enjoyable, seeing different things other than just London. I wanted to hug you when you said you were lonely. It showed in your beautiful eyes. ❤ Tom being with you was the best medicine. No time limit on grief Aden that's not a lesson in life easily taught. Love you my dear friend, give my regards to Tom ❤

Also, grief is a process, and it will come in waves. Trying to bring yourself out of it the way you did might not always work, and sometimes you just have to feel it all. But being honest about it is so so important, and even though you didn't feel like there was much magic in this vlog, it doesn't mean it didn't do magic to me or someone else.

I love these vlogs. They don't have to be Sims related. I would still watch.
My favourite places are anywhere near a coastline, I just feel at home near the coast/sea and it helps to just be in your own world and tune the rest of the world out. I understand that loneliness feeling, It's been 8 months since my best friend of 21 years passed away and going to the coast every so often helps me to deal with the grieving. I take time out for myself, take in the sea air and remember all the fab, fun and absolutely hilarious times we shared just the two of us and with our children. Really enjoyed seeing you on your travels again and in such a beautiful area too. On the plus side, dipping your feet in the cold sea is invigorating, it helps to wake you up and feel refreshed 🤣❤
I love how real you are, how honest! Keep these videos coming…I don’t travel too much but this gave me the itch to start saving to travel and experience life more!

My heart just sank when Aden mentioned Blue. Memories flooded in of losing my own two bestest fuzzy buddies years ago. Losing Lovely Little Blue must have been such a deep cut. 😢 I genuinely had no idea Blue had gone. 😔 It must have happened during my electronics reduction. Thank you so much for sharing this adventure with us, Aden. I think the hotel from Witches would be iconic and an epic build that only you could bring to life in TS4. It was my first introduction to British media when I was a child and I absolutely loved it.

I am so glad to see the return of these vlogs, which I absolutely adore. They are such a lovely escape, especially when we are still deep in winter with a lot of snow on the ground where I live in the world.
