We are very inspired with Minka. Watched all the way through together and now we are about to discover aliexpress 😂 thank you for another amazing upload 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️
@@Crocheniacs I tell you what I did wrong: I went online back in December when Minka wanted me to make the big fat plushy bee... I had no clue what I needed... the online Latvian yarn store that I found had a few kinds of alize. To me they all looked the same! I ordered a bunch of colours that one needs for a bee, the yarn looked fat and fluffy and I thought: "good job, mummy, done ✅" just got to crochet it into bees... how hard can it be... 🤪 how wrong I was! I got the alize baby softy mega whatever! I am a pro hooper, right?! not pro crochet lady... 🤣 I couldn't see the stitches to save my life! the whole pack was just sitting in the corner in the delivery box. I did not even want to look at it 🤣 after your video Minka asked me if I wanted to try again.... yeah, got wet dreams about that yarn of course, sure we should try again... 🤪 Still cannot see a blooming stitch! I tell you what I did! I palpated it! I have nothing wrong with my vision by the way! Got eyes like a hawk 🤣 This yarn was probably dispatched straight from hell 🤣 anyways, we got the bees!!!! just by touch I am able to identify the stitches now!!!! I was thinking that Braille is something people learn, too when they cannot see.... so I should just for the first time in a very long time: pay attention to my palpation properly. Used to study osteopathy at uni in London a million years ago so touch was a skill I was interested in but since I moved into the entertainment industry, it has not been needed. Now I can palpate all the different stitches with this yarn! It's so exciting! Minka is trying it now, too! So cute to watch as she is concentrating on what she can feel with her fingertips! She has done half a bee already and took her work to school to carry on when there's time.
@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper The plushy big yarns are beautiful, and they claim for our attention, I know how it feels! Because when i started crocheting I did the same, and I was traumatized for years 🤣 Alize is a very good yarn indeed, and if we use a bigger crochet hook it will be even easier to see the stitches. It can be intimidating in the beginning, I know. That’s why I always say that I do not recommend beginners to start with plush yarns. I DO THE SAMEEEEE! It might sound crazy, right? To say that we feel a single crochet or increase, but it is true!!! We feel the difference of the stitches in our hands, this is not something that we can simply put into words. I am so happy you went through with it and finished your bee!!! I am looking forward to hearing news from Minka’s experience on using plush yarns now 😍
My pleasure 😍 I always see people struggling to find yarns that do not split that easily, so I was very happy to gather some yarns that I have tested and share them with you!
Hi Bianca! Thanks for the review, I want to try the Alize, even the fuzzy one!!! Have you ever try the brand Premier, their Parfait chunky? It's my favorite so far, I feel it's much better than honey bunny and cost half!
Thank you so much for your feedback! I really liked Alize, and it does not split that easily, so I was happy with it! I really want to try premier, but I couldn't find them in Finland, and shipping from the USA is quite expensive 😢 Really hope to try it one day!
I'd love to try the Premier yarn, but I have the same problem here in Austria. Impossible to get and shipping from the US is crazy.. but I've heard so much about it, I'd love to give it a shot
Ahhh mas eu to taaaao feliz com tua mensagem 😍 Muito muito obrigada! E que bom que voce me achou, seja mto bem vinda a Crocheniacs! Conte comigo na sua jornada nos amigurumis! 😘
Another WONDERFUL & helpful video! I can’t wait to try some (if I can get them in the USA) new to me brands. Biggest skein ever!!! Lol. *plushie* Is it possible to get your book written in English? I followed your link and it isn’t in English; when I search in the United States version of Amazon, it’s not found. I really wish to support you and be able to read the book! Congrats again!!! ☺️🫶🏻🧶
Thank you sooo much my dear! You are so sweet🥹 I believe it might be even easier for you to find some yarns in the USA. Everytime I go online to buy yarns, it looks like it comes from the US. I envy the amount of brands you have available to you😂 And thanks for always supporting me! My book is only German for now. If anything changes, I will let you know😘
What is your favorite plush Yarn? 😊
