- On an unseasonably warm day in March Calum and I headed across to Stirling to ride the North Third reservoir loop which features some awesome cliff top scenic riding as well as some tech and flow mixed in. It was a great day all round and I hope you enjoy this rather more cinematic take compared with my typical action packed videos!

This deserves way more views than it has! Great film!
Great video to show off North Third.
dude i have been watching you for a long time now and i find it truly amazing how much better the production side gets, this edit was so chill and nice to watch :)
Brilliant video,
exquisite!
That was fantastic! I watch a shit load of mtb films and edits can't believe this one has slipped my attention, keep up the good work, top stuff.
This hit me right in the feels...epic brother!
Haha! Cheers +Will Greenfield
I love this trail! always hard to keep the flow and not stopping to enjoy the views :) great riding and amazing vibe to this video. well done!!!
+Jiri Micanek I've only done it a handful of times unfortunately but it has to be one of my favourite rides, along with Dumyat of course! Thanks!
never been to Dumyat, have to check it out then :) so much places to ride in Scotland. your videos are definitely one of my great inspirations! cheers
+Jiri Micanek it's worth a look! The main hill is just a ride/push up come back down but there's trails down by the university and in Mine woods that you can link together into a decent wee loop - most of which are on trailforks.
I really love this journey styled edit, riding was top notch, nice length, beautiful shot only the color grading was a bit harsh from time to time regarding the switch from warm sunny shots to these cold shots in the wood.
you can see an big improvement over the first videos you put out to this! (not to say that they were bad or anything) keep this up and you will have a mass following in the near future
+Jay Dee One of the reasons I hate filming in the sun is that it really blows out the colours, the colours are fairly intentional through good old Cinespace grade but maybe I ought to check my monitor colours so that I don't overcook it!
I love this so much. Makes me want to go ride!
+JUDS Awesome! That's always my aim! :)
love it, great work!!
Epic man, such an amazing vibe!
+Alex Murison Thanks Alex!
Nice Luke - love the music choice!
+Dominic Simmons Cheers Dom!
Hi, amazing ad for N3. These are my local trails and I’ve never been able to find the trails at 3:48. They’re not on Trailforks either. Are they easy to find?
Hey, cheer! This trail all the way along the top of the lower crag is Sauchie Craig and it is on trail forks. You come up the track from where you drop down from the other crag and then the track widens out to the left and that's what you see in the video as Calum enters the forest again.
thebikingsquirrel hi, thanks for the reply. I think it’s because it looks so different now the trees have all been cut down.
Epic! Super chill and captivating, great video.
Mind if I ask what you sound setup is? The audio on this one was superb.
+BlindstuffMTB Cheers! It's just my Røde Stereo Pro straight into the dslr so nothing too fancy but it doesn't half sound good. External recorder perhaps when I upgrade my whole kit later in the year!
Does extremely well imho, much better than I get with my zoom h1's internal mic.
