It really breaks my heart that the world has lost Mandisa, her voice was truly a light of hope. I remember, I had just lost my newborn baby when I heard "Overcomer", it really gave me strength to keep going. Thank you for helping so many of us, Mandisa, you'll be so dearly missed.

Not yet. Mandisa is asleep in the grave until the resurrection. Psalm 115:17 says that the dead don't praise the Lord, neither any who go down into silence (the grave); and further, the dead don't know any thing, and that their love, hatred, envy, and even their thoughts, have all perished. (Eccl. 9:5, 6, 10).

I love that song so much!!!!! She is in the arms of Jesus forever!!!! Her faith in Jesus was strong and impacted so many people, and brought Glory to Jesus!!!

When I heard the news my heart could not believe it. I cried. We often listened to her up beat music in the morning on the way to school drop off. Tired and not the happiest turned into joy and dancing. Her music will live on and continue to encourage many ❤❤❤

I'm a dialysis patient, and hers was the last concert I went to in October, 2017 on her "Rise Out of the Dark" tour with Danny Gokey. I got a VIP ticket for only $50, which enabled me to attend a Q&A with her before the show. Who does that ... VIP tix for $50? The show itself was awesome. She was so talented. It made me so sad when I saw the news on Twitter. She will be missed.
My favorite song of hers is "Bleed the Same" with TobyMac. Its message is SO powerful and badly needed today. "We all bleed the same ... we're more beautiful when we come together ... we all bleed the same ... so tell me why, tell me why we're divided."

She was my favorite Chistian artist. I was working on Friday when I found out about her passing. I became despondent and had a hard time focusing but then I had to remember that she is now with the Redeemer. No more sorrow for her. Her song You Wouldn't Cry tells us this very thing. I am still sad but she is with Jesus now.

Definitely a powerhouse! Her love for God is very inspiring. Overcomer, Unfinished, and Stronger, etc were songs that helped me get up and to commit to what I was doing when I didn’t feel like it. Thank God for her songs and her powerful strong voice. I never met u personally but I know u r with Jesus

One of the true American Idol success stories. She sang secular songs on the show but her gospel roots were always there shining through. After the show, she achieved her goal of securing a record deal with a Christian record label and the rest is history. Number one songs, number one albums, and many accolades and awards, including a Grammy. Her passing is not a loss to the world of music, but to the world in general. She used her gift and her life to uplift, motivate and inspire others and definitely made the world a little bit better place. She's with the heavenly father now, and the choir of angels has a beautiful new voice to join in praise and rejoicing. Forever beautiful. ❤

what a horrible shame that she was alone and never had a chance to get married or have her children and I hope her fur baby is happily adopted somewhere
she was not old at all, but perhaps she should have had a Life Alert “ I've fallen and I can't get up” necklace for emergencies that you never know can happen, just like people have OnStar in their cars for accident they hope they never have
even if you are young, if you live alone, Anything could happen to you and you can sit there and for hours if not longer hoping someone will find you before you expire

I heard Mandisa many years ago at a Bible study conference. She was so beautiful and loving. I am comforted to think of her singing in heaven now. She had the promise of eternal life as all of us do with Jesus. God Bless. John 3:16 and Romans 10:9❤️❤️❤️
