I am new to fly fishing and I will have to try this approach. I dislike casting and leaving it alone, and I struggle more on Stillwater for trout. Thank you 🙏🏽

Very informative and I will be practicing still water techniques in the Great Lakes of NYC.

I'm not very good at stillwater fly fishing, this video is very helpful.

Hi Phil. First off, thanks for the very informative and helpful video! I have a question about the leader you built for indicator fishing. If attaching a 2x leader to the end of my floating fly line, will the 2x loop be too thin and start cutting into my fly line? Wondering your thoughts on that and if you've had that problem. Thanks!

I’m new to fly fishing also but still water fishing is probably more my thing not so much catching trout but I like catching larger fish and pan, fish and things like that I fish more than the ponds in the lakes than the streams and the Rivers

float fishing is not fly fishing, it's a bedwetters method, only good for teaching kids to catch stickleback. Neither is it an advanced method.
