    @4:28 : "I do wish there was a little less force needed for pitch, and more for roll..."
    This is where a little experience flying a real airplane makes a difference in how you see things. I have been playing sims since I was a little kid, so the first time I ever flew a real plane, I was very surprised at how strong the control resistance was in the pitch axis. Keep in mind this was an airplane with no spring mechanism to center the controls. The centering was provided solely by the airflow pushing on the elevator and trim tab. It's also one of the things that makes every yoke I have tried so far unsatisfying to use. Not enough resistance, and thus not enough stability in pitch. I hope to buy one of these yokes soon, and I hope it works better than the ones I have tried before.

    Great quality video. Had one for over a year. Am on my second one as first one developed “wobble” with the main shaft. Had to return to aero soft in Germany. They paid for all the courier services and get the replacement in less than 2 weeks.

    I bought this after flying on an X52 pro for the last 5-6 years. it's definitely the thing to upgrade first. The Logitech pedals and throttle quadrant are good enough and there are plenty of other budget options to compare, I've not seen stuff around this price as good for GA flight.

      I've always been a fan of Honeycomb although not of their way of doing business lately. They've let a lot of people down. I'm hoping they can turn it all around.

    I recently purchased the Honeycomb yoke and it is good and bad. Good: quality product and FYI the weight is necessary to give it the quality feel. Lots of buttons and switches although not all are (at least for me) the correct ones. Out of the box it is plug and play. CONS: Breaks. I ended up using the #1 button ( smart camera) for the break and put parking brake on my throttle master. A trigger style brake switch (like a slot car control) would work better for me. No nose wheel control for steering. I assigned the nose wheel to the ailerons which is by far not the best but it works ( taxi speeds must be super slow to make a turn). I felt the pitch tension bungee cords were way too strong. After watching a few mods on this (pilots trying to get a smaller bungee cord at the right tension) I designed a mod using 2 small springs instead of the bungee cord and no need to take anything apart. See a video link below. The missing 'starter spring' would be nice but hey...

    Only thing l don’t like is no feed back on the yoke which makes trimming far harder. On a real aircraft trimming is quick and easy not to say important.

    Can I use the magneto switch for 2 engines
    Can I switch between them by one magneto switch
    Thanks

    • @g-locmedia
      @g-locmedia  Год назад +1

      Yes you can. You can do the right, left or both.

    • @acratone8300
      @acratone8300 11 месяцев назад +2

      Let me jump in here. You can make that one magneto switch work with either engine #1 and then next work with engine #2. I hope you can follow this:
      In MSFS controls screen, type in the word magneto in the search window to see how the Honeycomb magneto switch is mapped. In other words to see which MSFS commands are shown for each position on the switch. Now make different mappings but use the same type of commands that you see already in the sim, but for magneto #1 and magneto #2 instead of for all magnetos.
      For magneto #1, just use the same single command for each switch position. But for magneto #2 use two buttons simultaneously (the white push button and the magneto #2 switch position button). (MSFS allows you to push 1, 2, or even 3 buttons simultaneously to work the function. Here we are using 2 buttons).
      If you followed that, here's how to use: Do not press the white button and turn the Honeycomb magneto switch to start engine #1. Now push the white button and turn the Honeycomb magneto switch to start engine #2.

      You should look at the Thrustmaster Boeing TCA Yoke pack. I've never reviewed it before but its a fairly decent yoke. As far as rudders go the TM rudders are really expensive. I'd maybe try Virpil.
