I don't think she killed sparkle, I think she just overpowered sparkle to break her illusion. Sparkle checked her, and found out Acheron is that one.
I REALLY like your reactions! So much to point out. I don't know your background, but I am so impressed by your ability to speak multiple languages so well. Secondly, it's just so incredible to listen to a passionate HI3rd player analyze HSR. I haven't played HI3rd, but I am aware of it's reputation of it having an amazing story and story telling. I am liking this experience of hearing HI3rd players talk about the HI3rd references they see in HSR, it's a really cool and different experience for me. I would love to see your reactions to quests as well, although I know those take much more work. All the best!
Also "Your Colour" is corresponds with the story they released now - when someone tells her that "only a little of colour" left in her, and she answers that it is enough to not lose herself. As seems like Nihility erases colours in them as well (metaphorically it seems).

Sparkle homeworld in her trailers looks exactly like Izumo in Acheron trailers - almost perfectly building to building, but before bad events.

I don’t think she killed sparkle, she was just trying to dispel the illusion. Everything was an illusion (fighting the 3 stellaron hunters)
Something cool I learned today... In 2017 one of the very first videos that MiHoYo used for advertising HI3 was a Raiden Mei dancing MMD. The song used was 君の色に染める which loosely translates to "Your Color" i.e. the title of the Acheron Trailer.
She's holding Key of Castigation. It be looking a little different, but it's still a Divine Key!

I have a SUPER WILD THEORY, when you look at the "apply yoir color" banner in the big screen, you can see alongside the memory Acheron there's 3 dots with different colors: purple/pink, green and yellow, and as you mentioned there's a good chance that Acheron has another sources of power, so what if.... Those dots indicate the element of acherons paths, first lighting for nihility, then wind and imaginary, a multipath Acheron was mentioned I think so....
I'm super excited for what's in store for 2.1 and beyond! In the showcase livestream, they mentioned that Welt will play a pivotal role in Acheron's journey... so you mentioning her going through some sort of redemption arc and trying to figure out her past would definitely line up. And it will be interesting how Acheron and Welt would both interact... and if they'd bring in even more HI3 lore through their interactions, assuming that's the direction they're taking. Once again, very nice lore analysis and parallel comparisons with HI3 stuff. Loving the content!

On your point of a possible redemption arc tho, I don't think Acheron needs it. After all, Nihility is an absence or nothingness that doesn't involve morality, as that 'requires' something to be there. But then the Doctors of Chaos are trying to 'cure' IX by having it acknowledge existence, so there are so many interesting ways they could take Acheron's story.....

Well, Sparkle overpowered other Masked fools to get here without invitation, coming instead of someone else. And then she can enter dreamworld without dreaming - the only other one who was able to do so is miniBronya hacking reality. So she is clearly very powerful.
Check Vergil's ultimate ability in DMC 5 lol. That blade skill transition is almost 1:1 xD
I appreciate these reviews as I'm not great with the lore details. One thing about the two trailers that seems connected to Genshin. It's a meme of sorts in Genshin that Raiden Ei can't remember Arataki Itto, the Oni. It's a joke about him just not being important enough to remember, but it stood out to me that they said the people of Izumo who fought against the Kami became Oni. Since Acheron is actively rejecting/losing her memories of Izumo (and everything) it seemed like a possible connection. I'm sure that Raiden Ei and Acheron are completely different people and universes/timelines, but it would be interesting if Acheron's actions affected "Mei's" of other timelines OR if Itto and the Oni of Teyvat are somehow connected to Izumo. Since the stories are all about interlopers between universes, it doesn't seem that far of a stretch.
An example, being something like Acheron's removing the memories of the Izumo Oni affected the memories of other "Mei"s so that none of them can remember the Oni, even after meeting them.
