Brilliant very helpful thanks. I had some fungus on mine and was wondering where to start. Forgot to do the mark you suggested though, made it harder, but overall not too difficult, its sorted now!. Dust free environment is a good idea if possible though. CHeers
If you would like to clean the lens elements which are inside the lens, then you have to completely disassemble the lens... I have a video about it when I replace the aperture cable, check my other videos. If you have a molded lens element which has fungus inside, then it is almost impossible to separate them and glue them back together.
Yes, you can. Currently I use alcohol first, then distilled water, then wipe it dry. You have to be careful with cleaning the inner lens elements, apply less pressure, because it is easier to scratch them.
Very cool, you rock !
Thank you!

Have you got any tips on taking the molded element apart? Mine got fungos only inside the molded part.
