Just like hockey, this sport can't always be regulated just by the umpires, sometimes fights need to happen to even things out. It's a brutal reality, but you just can't have pitchers throwing at guys just for celebrating on homeruns

Thats the thing with sports content - there isn't a lot of not-PC shit that Jomboy says. plus, he's an exceptionally objective and reasonable observer and rarely expresses any unnecessary negative opinions and I think those qualities give him the ability to continue to show his personality in a more mainstream/corporate medium. I saw a fight in a McDonalds carpark that went down like that.
Two groups had just left a bar. I have no idea what the trigger was but, in the end, they started swinging.
At a certain point this one guy just swings a haymaker at another dude and knocks him down. Literally the entire brawl pauses and everyone is like, "Hey isn't that your guy?"
The entire brawl on both sides just cracks up in laughter, which defuses the situation, and then they hear sirens so they all clear out.

Yeah man dude is elated. I don't like the Cardinals but they tend to ALWAYS do something to remain in the post season picture. He just came from a team that paid him, but did it to placate the fan base. The Rockies are lost and have been. Now he gets to play meaningful games AND get paid.
