"when you start thinking about what can go wrong, usually when you come back home and look back on what happenned, it was never the thing you were worried about that was a problem, it's usually something else. So before you go on a tour, don't be worried, the thing you are worried for will not be a problem, you will get something else to deal with, and that is adventure." ~ Matti
This sounds like true wisdom and is great advise, something I will take with me, thank you! 🪻

This is so inspiring! Hello from a Swedish expat in Northern California. Having raised a couple of Siberian Huskies, I have the deepest love for the playful, energetic, and hardy nature of these dogs. I have met Iditarod mushers and know how much work goes into breeding, raising, training, and sledding with these dogs. I have profound respect and admiration for what you do and how you share it with others. Fantastiskt inspirerande! Jag längtar tillbaka när jag ser de vackra vinterlandskapen, hundarna, och norrsken!

      Thanks!
Dog mushing is not a work and not a hobby. It’s a lifestyle!
      :-)
You really have to love what you’re doing otherwise it will be very hard.
It’s lovely that you have tasted the life with huskies! …but California. That’s really faraway! That’s a part of the world that I only see on RUclips and it’s really beautiful.
      :-)
      Take care!

My love to our dogs was one of the reasons why I didn’t want to have an ordinary work. You know 8-10 hours a day away from home.
      😀
Now I’m much more free to spend a lots of time with our huskies.

I fixed up a meal of chicken noodle soup, bite size crackers & peanut butter to consume while I watch this video.
:19; there it is the oldest nastiest pot for boiling water on planet Earth. Someone, anyone, please donate a new pot to Matti/Stina.
    1:13; beautiful overhead drone footage.
16:59: that restaurant out in the boonies with all the amenities is something I'm sure everyone looks forward to.
24:13; I always look forward to "Northern Lights" footage, like everyone else, however, it's not the same as actually being there & seeing them in real life.
Were all your guest on tour with you for the first time?
Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

Thanks for all your reflections. You really live in a different part of the world so it’s really nice to read your reflections. :-)
The coffee pot… I have both older and newer. Of any reason I very often ended up with this one. It’s aluminium and that’s not super healthy. I looking in to titanium or stainless steel but it’s difficult to find one with a good volume.
You know… coffee is almost like religion in the part of the world. ;-)
      Take care.
      /Matti

@@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA Coffee is a religion in my part of the world also.😀😁
The cook kit I & all other Boy Scouts used in late 40's were made of Aluminum, somehow we managed to survive aluminum cook kits, lead pencils, leaded gasoline, Bebee guns, & asbestos for insulation + we played in dirt which may be one of the rteasons I have a strong immune system & am healthy. We also played with other kids, outside.
Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

Headwaters of the lake, where the river/spring feeds the lake. Love the vid. Like working those dogs. My friends too. Annie looks back and says, Come on this way. Follow me, I'm free to run your asses off. Weather is always the question. However the wind blows nobody knows til it goes. Next time, safe travels.
