My best friend left me his entire vinyl collection in his will. He was a big blues collector. The stand out album was an original uk pressing of Art Gallery by The Artwoods. Plus 3 Artwoods singles and the Jazz in Jeans ep. All like new. Jon Lord on keyboards.

Love to see you put the records in the inner behind the jacket in a protective cover,, i clean then pack them this way in a plastic cover that is not made with lots of acid ect, then i store them in boxes as all my online shop stock is on shelves and need more,, happy record hunting and here in the UK we find vertigo labels all the time,,

Cheers to paring down your collection. I also had 4-5K records and am now down to about 1200 LPs and about 700 45s. My general rule is that if it’s not worth at least $10 median on Discogs, then I don’t really have room for it. My proudest vinyl moment this year was just getting (almost) everything listed on my Discogs account. No more buying the same record twice in 2020!

I love your channel Dillon! Your gets are incredible. Here in Belguim it's impossible to find some of your suggestions (even reissues) on Vinyl! Two weeks ago I was visiting a record fair in Belgium and I found Morgen-Morgen for 16 dollars (re-issue). The seller couldn't believe, that such a young guy as me knewed about this record. Thank you Dillon for this suggestion (and all the others!)

Man, those Link Wray signed records are insane!! And that Howlin Wolf OG is beyond words. I checked out that Karen Dalton album and dang, ole Kare-Bare had an amazing voice and playing style...that was a fantastic record, thanks for sharing. You crushed it in 2019 man....here's to another run in 2020!

Nice stuff brother. I too scored a copy of the MOFI King Crimson. Got mine in a bulk buy, so I paid like 50¢ for it. There was, among other things, also a RL/RL “hot mix” copy of LZ2 in that collection as well.

I feel your pain, having to give away great and really rare records. I once had an original copy of Arcadium - Breathe Awhile but I thought it had a bit too much surface noise (but not that bad). I didn't realise that virtually all originals of that LP are like that because of the bad pressing. I also had Czar, but traded it for an original of Night Shadows - Square root of two. Did I do the right thing? I still Don't know 15 years later! Love your enthusiasm for the kind of music I love too. Your taste is very similar to mine.

Yes I held an original Magic Mushroom in my hand this year and did not buy it since I thought we were going to Disney World. the led zeppelin turquoise blue belongs to a museum, i know someone who has a copy of it and is in mint condition probably worth between 2000 to 2500 pounds
An interesting record to listen to but you probably won't ever find is Cargo by Cargo a Dutch prog band with two Brothers playing exquisite guitar it's on the Harvest label .

Congratulations Dillon, I wish you nothing but success for you and your family in 2020 but I have a question was harder to let go, Lee Morgan, The Cooker or the Turquoise Led Zeppelin?
Well, the cooker was going to a really good friend, so I was kinda happy to let it go because he is really enjoying it.
The turquoise was tough but I made good money on it and needed some seed money for the shop so, both were worth it. I don’t regret selling them.
I have reissues of May Blitz. I have both of those Warhorse albums. I need some Link Wray. Have a reissues of Yesterday's Children.

@@noblerecords I also found a copy of Blue Cheer's Outsideinside on 8-Track (for free) I'm trying to find an original Philips sleeve for it. That 8-track is an extremely rare item. On a similar note: A woman gave me about 100 LPs a few months ago. The good ones were mostly Zappa and Mothers (Freak Out Verve 1972 reissue in VG++ condition) - Also, On the Boards by Taste - the cover on that one is nice but the disc is really bad - that was a great day! Happy New Year. May your 2020 be even better than 2019!

I show records because I love music and love turning people on to new records. Also, not everyone wants to buy reissues, some of us try to get the early pressings.
