- Well, technically it works using a 3.7v to 24v step-up voltage regulator the main problem is the Samsung battery BMS, I think I am using a busted one. But yes, it works just fine. if you have a better idea, please let me know :)
Very good job. Mine also keeps on rebooting, however when i tried with higher voltage (5 volts) it works.
Because they work with 5 volts 👌👍
Charging voltage of 3.8 volt battery
Good brother👍👍
Hello sir i have problem with 8000mah tablet battery that i trying to make work with samsung note 4 lineage os 18... it boot but acting weird screen goes on and off every 3 seconds but on samsung s4 it works normal same have lineage os 18.. i did not use original samsung BMS... instead i leaved tablet BMS as it is just make from wood dummy battery only + and - (i would not try to charge it because tablet bms i will charge it with tablet)... do you know why s4 works fine but note 4 acting weird? battery are similar 4 pin...
Really cool. but you could have show how was the final assembly of the cables.
I just remove the battery and put B+ and B- BMS connector directly to the 3.7v - 24v step-up voltage regulator.
@@martektv but how about that bridge that you did with the yellow cable?
@@willkill1713 What I did is a trial and error, I realized that the bridge I made was unessesary because it is both B+ and it is just to connect the battery to the BMS
I tought that connection was needed to be able to detect it on the phone.
@@martektv can you put regular usb power onto it? i have the same bettery but didnt dismantel it all the way like you did, the connector came off where it attaches to the battery at 2 points, could i just put usb power there? and then attach it like you is what i want to do, usb - connector - phone, not sure if usb will be safe though as i dont have a voltage regulator
name song?+good job
excelente trabajo
I tried to run note 5 like this, but no matter which watts I use, the phone does not turn on.
I want to run it without battery because ill keep my phone as iot 100% of the time.
Any tips since you seem to have way more knowledge than I do.
You need to get the BMS battery, if you are running on the stock OS. You need to put some capacitor I think on the positive terminal to trick the BMS and get always a 100%.
@martektv there was only 2 pins connected to the battery and there is no other terminal in the flat cable :(
I checked and the phone does not pull any Amp from the regulator, which seems to have something as you said, but saw no other terminal at all.
I'm running HavocOS
Hectic Job
That's why I am working on it.
Is there another way to powerup my phone without having to do all of that stuff. Bc I don't have all that stuff.
How
Yes, just buy a working battery.
What is the purpose of doing this?
Nothing... just a random thought
To avoid buying expensive battery and still use the phone at home..
Or if you want to use your phone without getting that battery low, battery critical all that battery nonsense without shutting down by itself!
~~YOU CAN USE IT FOREVERRRR!!!~~
~~YOU CAN USE IT FOREVERRRR!!!~~
It didn't work 😕
Maybe you should try thicker wires. It will not work if you use standard USB wires.
@@martektv yes , I tried it with thicker one and it didn't work 2
@@hussenalmamore6316 did you put the BMS battery? power supply must have 3.7v and at least 2500 mAh
@@martektv is used 3.8 v and about 3100 mAh
@@hussenalmamore6316 Is the phone still use a stock from? On my video the os is Lineage.
😡
