- You have not seen this car since last summer because its been sitting quietly in the garage over winter while the other cars are being worked on, was not even cleaned and still has bugs attached.

I miss my RS so much, it had a full Mongoose system on it. I never had the stereo on for about 2 weeks after I had it fitted. Sounded the fuckin nuts. Great content mate, keep it coming 👍👍👍

You should get some of these videos all together for your builds and make a playlist for them so you have sections for individual cars

Is this CVH engine? Here in Brazil we only has CHT engines, they are weak and no upgrades parts. In the last xr3 they used a Wolksvagen AP engine in a joint venture called Auto Latina.

Those CVH engines should have been set up with those rickers from new, much quiter and refined
roller rockers not hard to find, Gradient in UK does them, Harland Sharp still have them, and i forgot the other one

Personally always hated the CVH engines because of the reliability of standard ones. But this takes it to another level, very well thought out and sounds really good.

Difficult to hear you in parts
i wouldnt call this a restoration. possibly a restomod but not a restoration. when you restore something you put it back to how it was when it left the factory or better, in terms of better quality materials being used etc than were originally. as it is, the bonnet sits high at the windscreen end, suspension and wheels are wrong, and something doesnt look right about the front bumper, possibly a ribber strip missiong from the bottom. the wheels, suspension and bonnet are, im sure, that way for a reason BUT that makes it a restoMOD rather than as RESTORED car.
