Good Observation Aoki Zyo , I checked the simulation and in that I used Maximum Principal stress as the failure criteria with value as 100 Pa and keeping Youngs Modulus of steel as 200Gpa. The MPS value should have been kept as the yield stress of the steel somewhere around I think 250 Mpa according to MPS criterion. The value 100 Pa was assigned so that crack could propagate easily.

Even if I am doing a manually it is asking for thickness, with any thickness it is giving an error as 'Too many attempts made for this increment.
