Jesus did say that he would come back in the same manner as he went up but nowhere does it say it will be to the same location, in fact it says every eye shall see him, that's around the world I would assume and he won't touch down but we will go to meet him in the air, yet its a historic site I suppose, even if you're not a dispensationalist, we are in the millennial reign of christ, when christ comes back it will be on the last day to judge both the good and the wicked, separate sheep from goats
