Invis as a beginner is very helpful. Mob aggro, corner escapes, entry, etc. You should start with it at least before moving into 4 dmg spells. utilizing missile in any pvp is nearly a death sentence in current meta. You will never kill a good player other than a rogue with missile and the cutthroat chances are too high. Just kite never stop.. Missile is cleric dependent and a last resort outside of mob clear. crystal sword is just as fast anyways. Currently explode, icebolt, fireball with ice mastery + all the general buffs. Sage, quick chant, dmg bonus is where i have been thriving. DODGING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR AIM. Dont get hit you win. Bows are better if you are just trying to win ranged. Good luck yall
I disagree on agi priority there. Wizard is not kiting class, you want to kill other guy before he gets to you, and that works best for me. Will>knowledge>vigor is my priority.
Agi comes a bit more from team comp but also I can totally see where you are coming from I found myself kiting people into shitty hallways and taking advantage of that
This is super well thought out! By getting to know all the classes, I believe Oneramirez is setting himself up to be godly at this game. I believe that there are many cases where feeling like there is no counter-play to a class stems from not understanding the class. (Where druid is, at the time of making this comment, that bear is a little over tuned. classes without strong ranged can, at best, stall in a doorway until the druid get bored when fighting bear) Can 5 spell wizard with Meditate and no Spell Overload be strong in trios play? I know the number of spells is pitiful, but the extra cast speed from not taking Spell Overload would be INSANE. With meditate, the teammates do not have to stall for very long for you to be back to full spells.
@@tombofthememelich2192 I’m honestly not sure about wizard mediate being super good in group play? But it’s always worth trying if it works for you keep it running wizard is super flexible so it’s always experimenting a little bit

Yea... as a solo wizard, there is only one playable build and even then you keep wondering why you aren't just playing warlock. I made the huge mistake of starting the game as a wizard and losing 90% of fights I took and only managed to win vs other wizards, until I tried other classes and realized I've been bringing a spellbook to a swordfight...

Replace Will with True magic dmg or Add magic dmg (add is budget), and your list is good
