Just an example game of me playing vs fang. Every game is different. In short: Build mustangs as soon as you identify the enemy is going carry fang If he adds armor sledge/ball, go hacker If he adds rhino, go steel ball If he adds Fortress or armored wraith, go melter + Also if somehow giants are built very very late in the game you can just go factory with the mustangs to counter literally everything
Metal Fatigue had some goated strategy campaigning of giant robot & support vehicle RTS warfare, (with planes, and 3 levels to each map for Orbit, Land, and Underground, very nice reference. In ever you feel like putting the brain in an APM machine enough for an RTS: Beyond All Reason is fantastic and free as a community project of a top teir, massive-scaling game that features 4v4 and 8v8 as common online matchmakings.
8:01 do you ever go napalm firebadger vs carry fangs or vulcan, then melters against fortress? I feel fire works well too in case of shield since they are squishy?
If you’re looking for a new game to screw around with Surrey, I’ve been having fun with Diplomacy is NOT an Option. Fun base building, big battles, inexpensive price point. There’s like 4 different game modes. Similar to TAB, which is of course not a bad thing
I think Dwarf Fortress over rimworld. They invented the whole thing after all and rimworld just copied and watered it down. They simply took advantage of the fact dwarf fortress didn't have a steam version with 'graphics' until last year.
Carry fangs are usually played with range upgrade and forts in front of them. Since typhoons have very little range and no range upgrade possibility, they will run ahead, will be stuck on forts and die to them long before they can even fire one shot at fangs. But to be clear, if it's just typhoon vs fang without other units, typhoon is a very nice counter to fangs.😂
Rimworld, Factorio, and Satisfactory are all great games, but different, yeah. Factorio and Satisfactory are both about building giant factories and automating everything. Factorio is kind of tower defenseish in that the pollution from the factory will really annoy the local wildlife, so you need to automate a defense industry too. It's kind of a pollute everything, kill all the trees, put concrete everywhere while the biters crash against your walls sort of game. Onceler simulator. Really satisfying in an odd sort of way. Frostpunk is like a story driven, atmospheric city builder. But Rimworld in particular is fantastic, and it's a Unity game, so the modding community has extended it to ridiculous degrees.
I feel like I'm constantly let down by fangs either as carry or lategame chaff with shields. Is there something I'm missing or are they kinda just sub par compared to crawlers?
Crawlers counter fangs, mustangs counter fangs, fangs need levels and at least two upgrades to get going It really depends on your enemies chaff clear I feel fangs are better into Vulcans provided you have paired them with fort shield, fangs are really strong into arclight if they out level them, wraiths lose to fangs if you click ignite, same with factory, mustangs only work if they have levels and range Fangs are especially vulnerable to fire boards and storms, crawlers are better into those since you can go subterranean Fangs shine more late game if your comp gets going, crawlers can be shut down pretty hard with wraith, Vulcan or arcs, fangs do better into this
RAT is a beast, so he defended the push, but generally you'll win with fang carry if you get levels and tempo. If I see elite fangs, I'm taking it. Early range, aggressive beacons, lots of upgrades and tech. Crawlers are better as chaff, but fangs can win games.
KrisRoxas is correct. Even with a mustang defense, Fangs can still get out of hand if you don't defend correctly. Surrey buffed his tower a lot because of Rocket Punch threat and what you saw happen here (he was behind tower and aggro would get the tower then ruin his defense). Low MMR forgets about towers often.
@@super0pickles also because fangs take forever to clear upgraded towers Carry crawler can be shut down at anytime If you don’t shut down carry fang early, you’ll likely lose
rimworld is very fun in the early game when you got nothing it gets pregressively more boring towards the end game also the robot enemies are stupid game design. They give you pretty much no reward

I happen to fight one today and 2 boats carried me for few rounds cleaving his wraith+ryno frontline
stop telling people how to beat me!
The crawlers at 7:30 are like: We're taking the Mustang to Isengard
The rat giveth me the tools to win, and giveth others the tools to beat me, the rat truly giveth and taketh away

If you're into colony sims, you should try oxygen not included. It's a physics based game and it's very complicated
3:50 do you think the game would have been a little easier with the tarantula pick? You've really opened my eyes to how good that unit can be!
it's good vs sledge openers

Surrey will like Rimworld.
have to try it
@@SurreyEZ Rimworld is amazing.

thanks for the recommendation
Mecha let's go
Данное видео показывает как противостоять неумелому фенго- пушу. У противника плохой старт для пуша фенгами, нужны шары + фенги + 200 суплай старт.
yes but same strategic principles apply for the defender

why are typhoons bad against carry fangs?
Range issue and rocket puncch i guess

Not even comparable to dwarf fortress. They are nothing alike.
